摘要: A method and system is provided for use in business intelligence and reporting. The method and system are able to implement one or more definable actions when presented with data. The data may be produced by a business intelligence application. The actions may relate to activities performed by a user or an agent. The system comprises an action manager, a repository, a data association manager and an implementation engine. In one embodiment a data mining engine is provided. The system enables the availability of an action in response to the execution of analytic queries to be determined based on a relationship defined by the data association manager. If an action is available, an action definition is used to invoke a target in response to selection of the action by an entity, the invocation of the target including propagating data produced by an analytic engine into the target based on metadata to perform the action.

These measured signals are compared to a number of tolerance bands formed about median strain or pressure versus time curve. 摘要: The present invention relates to a blind rivet nut. Blind rivet nuts are used to connect items to surfaces of materials, such as roof racks to automobiles, and have proven to be extremely reliable. However, difficulties occur when attempting to connect to several layers of materials or when material thickness increase, as it has been necessary to increase hole size in order to ensure hole registration and this can cause sealing problems. The invention provides a blind rivet nut capable of being used through one or several layers with improved grip capability and improved sealing ability preventing ingress of moisture. Lines of weakness in the form of grooves are formed in a portion of the body of the blind rivet nut so that material deforms selectively thereby improving the grip of the blind rivet nut. A flange has an annular recess that enables an O-ring seal to deform more efficiently, giving a larger ‘footprint’ than was previously possible thereby enhancing sealing.

摘要: The present invention is directed to a blind fastener, usually a blind rivet, (10) comprising a mandrel (22) and an elongate cylindrical body (16) mounted on a stem (24) of such mandrel so as to extend co-axially about a central axis A of such blind rivet, the body (16) having a flange (18) at one end and a tail end (20) at an axially opposed end, for insertion through a hole in a workpiece, the mandrel having a mandrel head (26) in operative engagement with this tail end (20) for transmitting force thereto during setting of such fastener, wherein the body (16) has two different external diameters (d, D) and a radially extending shoulder (32) therebetween such that the external diameter (D) of the body adjacent to the flange (18) is greater than the external diameter (d) of the body adjacent to the tail end, wherein the body between this shoulder (32) and the flange is at least partially encased in a resilient, shock absorbing material (36).

摘要: A method of monitoring the setting operation for a blind fastener comprising the step of measuring, as a function of time, an electronic signal indicative of the load being applied to the fastener during the setting operation and, from which, determining a mandrel entry load and associated mandrel entry time from this measured signal and an associated setting time, subsequently determining the time difference between the mandrel entry time and the setting time and comparing this time difference against a predetermined reference time difference associated with that particular fastener type to determine whether the set fastener complies with predetermined acceptable setting procedures.
