Fluid discharge head having a discharge nozzle (5) which has a discharge opening (6) in which an inner sleeve (7) is arranged, which has a medium duct (8) and holds a spring-loaded valve body (10) automatically closing the discharge opening (6), the valve body (10) being formed as a cylindrical piston, which can be displaced axially in a cylinder chamber (12) formed by the inner sleeve (7), an upper (14) and a lower valve seat (15) being provided for the piston ends (16, 17), and the valve body (10) having an intermediate valve plate (18), which forms a chamber bottom of a pressure chamber (19) connected to the medium duct (8), and, in order to open the upper valve seat (14), a medium discharge pressure which is higher than a spring force holding the valve body (10) closed can be set in the pressure chamber.

Manual piston pump having a lockable dispensing head, having a cylinder, an inner locking sleeve forming a cylindrical passage for a hollow piston rod, one end of this extending into a pump chamber of the cylinder and the other end carrying the dispensing head, which is provided with an outer shaft section. A spring presses the piston rod outwards in relation to the cylinder, into a rest position, and in opposition to the spring the piston rod may be lowered by pressing on the dispensing head to dispense substance. To block the dispensing head at least one projection can be placed in engagement with a recess, and the recess has a latching lug arranged on a resilient web articulatedly mounted at the end side and can be latched as a joining partner to the projection.

Dispenser (1) for the dosed dispensing of liquid media, with a container (3) for holding a liquid medium (4), a manually actuated pump (5), which is arranged on the container (3) and comprises a flood chamber (6) into which liquid medium (4) flows when the container (3) is turned over, for which purpose the flood chamber (6) is fluidically connected at the inlet end to an outlet opening (7) of the container (3), and a dosing piston (8), which is displaceable by an actuating stroke, is arranged in the flood chamber (6) and expels dosed medium (4), and a media channel (9) extending through the dosing piston (8) is widened at the inlet end as a volumetrically defined cylinder portion (10) into which a plunger piston (11) protruding into the flood chamber (6) engages as a pressure piston in order to expel medium (4) introduced by gravity into the cylinder portion (10) of the dosing piston (8).

One aspect of the invention provides a component 112, 165 for a fluid dispenser 110 which defines a dosing chamber 120 for a piston member 114 to stroke in and has an end 160 adapted for engaging a fluid outlet 152 of the fluid dispenser or a seal 154 which overlies the fluid outlet 152 to selectively close and open the fluid outlet 152 or seal 154.
