    摘要: A Virtual extensible Local Area Network Tunnel Endpoint (VTEP) receives a multicast group state indicator comprising a state attribute associated with a group identifier of a multicast group, wherein the multicast group is a first multicast group or a second multicast group. The VTEP sets a traffic send and receive state regarding a traffic for a destination VxLAN in the multicast group according to the state attribute for the multicast group in the multicast group state indicator. The traffic is migrated from the first multicast group to the second multicast group.

    摘要: In an example, a VTEP device may store first routing information acquired by the VTEP device, wherein the first routing information may be routing information of a host device connected with the VTEP device. The VTEP stores second routing information sent from other VTEP devices in a VXLAN, wherein the second routing information may be routing information of a host device connected with the other VTEP devices. The VTEP receives an address resolution request from a source host device, wherein the address resolution request comprises an IP address of a target host device, and a VXLAN identifier of a VXLAN to which the target host device belongs. and in response to a determination that routing information of the target host device may be stored locally, the VTEP sends an address resolution response comprising a MAC address of the target host device to the source host device.

    摘要: According to an example, a Virtual Extensible Local Area Network Tunnel End Point (VTEP) sends a Virtual Extensible Local Area Network (VXLAN) information announcement message carrying the identifiers of VXLAN instances to the neighbor VTEPs and receive VXLAN information announcement messages from the neighbor VTEPs. If a neighbor VTEP is configured with the same VXLAN instance as the present VTEP, the present VTEP sets up a tunnel to the neighbor VTEP; and associates the tunnel with the same VXLAN instance.

    摘要: In an example, a method for managing a virtual network is provided. According to the method, first and second domains are respectively created for heterogeneous first and second hypervisor mangers. The first hypervisor manager manages a first virtual machine (VM) and first virtual switch (vSwitch) The second hypervisor manager manages a second VM and a second vSwitch. Based on topology of the virtual network, topology management information may be created, which comprises first and second virtual network topology information respectively for the first and second domains, and first and second configuration information respectively for the first and second vSwitches. The topology management information may be distributed to the first and second hypervisor mangers after being associated with the first and second domains, so to the first and second vSwitches implement packet forwarding between the first and second VMs according to the first and second configuration information respectively.

    摘要: In an example, a method for packet classification may include cyclically splitting an initial rule set to generate multiple rule subsets, performing tree building for each rule subset to obtain multiple decision trees. The cyclic splitting may select a target rule set having a highest global average overlap rate, from a rule set group which includes the initial rule set before the cyclic splitting and will include the multiple rule subsets after the cyclic splitting; split the target rule set according to a split point to obtain two rule sets; add the two rule sets into the rule set group to replace the target rule set; and continue to select a new target rule set from the rule set group, until the number of rule sets in the rule set group reaches a preset number.
