Abstract:
A description is given of a method for charge reversal of a circuit part of an integrated circuit from a first electrical potential to a second electrical potential of a first voltage network. In this case, the circuit part is connected to the first voltage network for charge reversal. Furthermore, the circuit part is connected to a second voltage network for charge reversal, said second voltage network providing a third electrical potential between the first and the second electrical potential. The circuit part is automatically isolated from the second voltage network before its electrical potential reaches the second electrical potential.

Abstract:
Plasma Display Panels (PDP) are becoming more and more interesting for TV technology. One important criterion for picture quality is the Peak White Enhancement Factor (PWEF). From a previous patent application of the applicant it is known to have a table of power level modes in a control unit for the display device. The average picture power value is measured and a corresponding power level mode will be selected from the table for sub-field coding. The power level modes have been made variable in respect to a number of parameters, namely: the number of sub-fields the sub-field type the sub-field positioning the sub-field weight the sub-field pre-scaling a factor for the sub-field weights which is used to vary the amount of small pulses generated during each sub-field. According to the invention it is now proposed to use one or both of the following parameters in addition for varying the power level modes: the sustain frequency the sustain pulse slope.
Abstract:
The static frequency converter controlled by a control parameter processing and command generation element includes an active filter at the terminals of a dc/dc converter powering a load, wherein the active filter includes an inductance (L1) in series with a diode (D1) grounded through a condenser (C0) and a switch (K5) controlled by the control parameter processing and command generation element and that the dc/dc converter includes at least one complete bridge, one of the arms of which has two condensers (C1,C2) and the other arm has four switches (K1. . . K4). This converter can be used with all load types that can be controlled by frequency converters, and more particularly to a transformer type inductive load or alternating electric motors, with or without commutators, and particularly to single phase and multiphase asynchronous motors.
Abstract:
A method of supplying optimal power for an alternating current electric motor driven by a direct/alternating and alternating/direct/alternating static frequency converter including a device for implementing the method. In particular, the method supplies optimal power for an inductive-type load coupled to an application with the load being driven by a static converter controlled by an electronic module. The method involves delivering power to the load by setting parameters which are applied to the controls of the converter and by noting the direction of variation around an extreme, corresponding to a minimum power absorbed by the load on the basis of one or more monitoring parameters which are weighted and/or combined together.

Abstract:
An integrated circuit includes an input terminal for applying an input signal, a further input terminal for applying a further input signal having a level differing from the level of the initial input signal, an output terminal for providing an output signal, a switching unit having a controllable switch, which is arranged between the input terminal and the output terminal, and a further switching unit, which is arranged between the further input terminal and the output terminal. The integrated circuit is operated in a first and subsequent second operating state. The controllable switch of the switching unit is controlled to be conductive in the first and second operating state. In the first operating state, the output signal is provided in dependence on the level of the input signal, and in the second operating state in dependence on the level of the second input signal.

Abstract:
The invention relates to a vibration damper for application to a vehicle bottom plate (1), comprising an under floor panel (3) as a constraining layer and a damping layer (2) as a constrained layer, wherein the damping layer (2) has a lower modulus of elasticity than the under floor panel (3), and wherein the damping layer (2) is located between the vehicle bottom plate (1) and the under floor panel (3) when the vibration damper is fixed to the vehicle bottom plate (1). The vibration damper is characterized in that the under floor panel (3) is pre-shaped and stays in this shape when fixed to the vehicle bottom plate (1) and is made of a first polymeric material, and that the damping layer (2) is made of a non-foamy second polymeric or bitumen material and is placed on the under floor panel (3) prior to fixation of the vibration damper to the vehicle bottom plate (1). In addition, the invention relates to a respective damping arrangement and a method of producing a vibration damper.
