    摘要: A mode changing device for a camera employing a minimum number of actuating members to permit a user to change an operating mode and/or setting of the camera. A mode actuating member and a selector switch, used in conjunction with an LCD panel that indicates the mode and setting that has been selected by the user, permits the user to easily select and/or adjust the features of the camera, such as a photographing mode, a playback mode, an exposure mode, a white balance mode, a copy/monitor mode and a time/date mode.     摘要: An electronic camera capable of both still picture photographing and motion picture photographing in which one operation can be switched over to the other with ease and in which a bright image of the object is provided in the viewfinder with little attenuation in the video signal level. Upon selection of the motion picture photographing mode, the image reflecting mirror is automatically retracted from the photographing optical path and the focal plane shutter is maintained open. The image reflecting mirror drive mechanism and the focal plane shutter drive mechanism are used for both still picture photographing and motion picture photographing operations. Also, the shutter release switch is used for both operations. In the motion picture photographing mode, the degree of opening of the aperture opening and closing mechanism is changed in accordance with the luminance of the image being photographed, while for still picture photographing, the exposure is controlled with the focal plane shutter.

    摘要: A luminance signal generating device having two CCDs on which complementary color filters are provided. Each color filter includes a matrix arrangement in which color filter elements for passing magenta, green, yellow and cyan light are arranged in a regular manner. If a first field is read from the CCDs, magenta (Mg) and Green (G) pixel signals of odd-numbered rows are read from the first CCD, and yellow (Ye) and cyan (Cy) pixel signals of even-numbered rows are read from the second CCD. If a second field is read from the CCDs, yellow (Ye) and cyan (Cy) pixel signals of even-numbered rows are read from the first CCD, and magenta (Mg) and green (G) pixel signals of odd-numbered rows are read from the second CCD. Four pixel signals (Mg, G, Ye, Cy) from optically adjacent pixels are added to each other to obtain a luminance signal.
