摘要: A method of fabricating a metal cup includes a tool having an interior profile of a predetermined shape, the tool having a body forming an inner area; placing a metal sleeve within the inner area of the tool; securing the tool in a closed position such that the metal sleeve is unremovable; applying internal pressure within the inner area and within an inside of the sleeve such that the internal pressure exceeds a yield point of a material comprising the metal sleeve, the metal sleeve deforms into the interior profile; opening the body of the tool; and removing the metal sleeve from the tool in the open position; the metal sleeve maintains a deformed shape having an exterior profile that matches the interior profile of the tool.

摘要: A wellbore tool system for use within a wellbore includes a stage packer shoe, having a lower body extending from a first end to a second end; an upper body attached to the lower body at the second end; and circulation ports extending through a thickness of the upper body; a metal cup having a predetermined diameter as determined by a diameter of the wellbore; the metal cup secured around a periphery of the lower body of the stage packer shoe such that the metal cup extends away from the periphery; the metal cup is to engage with the wellbore enough to have differential pressure holding capability between the stage packer shoe and the wellbore; and the differential pressure of the metal cup is dependent on a strength of the cup and the wellbore with which the metal cup is engaged.

摘要: An anchoring device for stopping movement of a sliding component in a mandrel or case is disclosed. The anchoring device includes an elastically deformable anchor seat and an elastically deformable anchor retainer insertable into the anchor seat. The anchor seat has a groove profile thereon which will mate with a groove profile on the mandrel in an anchoring position. The retainer is insertable into the anchor seat and will hold the anchor seat in the anchoring position.

摘要: A method having the following steps: running a circulation valve comprising a reactive material into the well bore on the casing; reverse-circulating an activator material in the well bore until the activator material contacts the reactive material of the circulation valve; reconfiguring the circulation valve by contact of the activator material with the reactive material; and reverse-circulating a cement composition in the well bore until the reconfigured circulation valve decreases flow of the cement composition. A circulation valve for cementing casing in a well bore, the valve having: a valve housing connected to the casing and comprising a reactive material; a plurality of holes in the housing, wherein the plurality of holes allow fluid communication between an inner diameter of the housing and an exterior of the housing, wherein the reactive material is expandable to close the plurality of holes.
