摘要: A first video camera includes a lens barrel, a main frame, a first side panel, a second side panel, a first media insertion part, a viewfinder, a handle part, and a stay. The first media insertion part is fixed to the main frame. The viewfinder is disposed at the upper part of the media insertion part. The handle part protrudes from the viewfinder in a direction parallel to the optical axis of the lens barrel. The stay links the main frame and the handle part. The media insertion part is a separate member from the main frame, the first side panel, the second side panel, the viewfinder, and the handle part.

摘要: A bar code reader provided with a laser diode (2) and a rotatory mirror (8) for deflecting a laser beam emitted by the laser diode for scanning, wherein a strip (20A) attached to the rotatory mirror (8), serving as a sensing indicator, is sensed at a position corresponding to a reading start edge of a laser beam scanning range of a bar code (1), and rotation of the rotatory mirror (8) is stopped for a predetermined time length after sensing of the strip (20A) and measurement of a scanning time length up to the final position of bar code reading, respectively, in the case of automatic scanning while rotation of the rotatory mirror (8) is locked upon measurement of half of a scanning time length up to the final position of the bar code reading after the sensing of the strip (20A) in the case of manual scanning, so that the laser beam can be recognized with ease, enabling focusing thereof or the manual scanning to be implemented.

摘要: A printing system including a plurality of different kinds of printers and a printer selecting device therefore are disclosed. The printer selecting device includes an accepting section for accepting information representative of a desired number of printings input, and selecting means for selecting one of the printers matching with the desired number of printings. Image data to be printed are sent from the printer selecting device to the printer selected. In this configuration, one printer adequate for the desired number of printings, which is an important factor for the selection of a printer, is automatically selected.

摘要: A raw material composition for an extrusion moldable polyolefin resin composition including (a) a polypropylene resin, (b) a polyethylene resin, (c) an esterified cellulose material obtained by esterifying a cellulose material with a polybasic acid anhydride and having a content of the polybasic acid anhydride bonded thereto of 0.5-20% based on the weight of the cellulose material, and (d) an organic peroxide compound, wherein the weight ratio of (a) to (b) ranges from 30:70 to 80:20, wherein the weight ratio of a total of (a)+(b) to (c) ranges from 30:70 to 70:30, and wherein (d) is present in an amount of 0.001 to 0.1% based on a total weight of (a)+(b)+(c). By kneading the raw material composition at 150-200° C. for 0.5 to 30 minutes, a polyolefin composition for extrusion molding is obtained.

摘要: In a cutting device having a moving (disc) cutter and a fixed cutter which extends in a cutting direction, wherein the moving cutter moves along the fixed cutter, thereby cutting a medium which is interposed therebetween, a presser member which is movable together with a medium pressing interlocking plate is lowered to press on the medium to fix the same at a portion close to a cutting position since a bearing attached to the moving cutter engages with the medium pressing interlocking plate to press down the same as the moving cutter moves. Since the moving cutter cuts the medium at this state, the cut edge of the medium can be excellent in linearity even if it has low rigidity in the outward-surface direction at right angles to the surface thereof. While the moving cutter does not cut the medium, the presser member is retracted to a standby position.

摘要: A rewriteable card of the invention is composed of a thermally reversible thermosensitive recording material which changes reversibly between a slightly opaque state and a transparent state depending on a given heating condition wherein the rewriteable card is characterized in including a reference slightly opaque portion at the part thereof having the reflectance equivalent to slight opacity state of the thermally reversible thermosensitive recording material in the early stage or the last stage of use of the rewriteable card. A method of judging the life of the rewriteable card is based on the result of detection of the reflectance on a printing slightly opaque portion and that on the reference slightly opaque portion, and a printing apparatus is provided with a card life judging means employing the judging method.

摘要: A stacker has a feed unit for feeding separate sheets in a direction, a stacking unit for stacking the separate sheets in a normal position, and a sheet classifying mechanism for shifting a sheet into a position different from the normal position, upstream of the stacking unit with respect to the direction. Sheets to be used to classify respective batches of sheets stacked by the stacking unit can selectively be shifted into the position different from the normal position by the sheet classifying mechanism. Since those shifted sheets can easily and clearly be recognized by the operator, the batches of stacked sheet can be sorted out with ease. The sheets remain sightly in appearance as no classifying ink mark is applied to those sheets used to classify the batches of stacked sheets. If a bar code printed on a sheet is found defective as a result of a verification process, it may be either shifted into the position different from the normal position or rejected so that it will not be stacked by the stacking unit.
