摘要: A printhead a supplying portion with a supplying opening of a filament; a melting portion to melt a filament supplied; a discharging portion having a discharging opening to discharge the melted filament. A heat insulating portion between the supplying portion and the melting portion are integrally formed to effectively suppress heat in the melting portion conducting to the supplying portion even when the melting portion is heated to high temperature, to maintain the temperature of the supplying portion to an appropriate temperature, and to efficiently utilize heat by the melting portion as a result of heating the melting portion.

摘要: A heating head with not so long heating elements to be connected, being adaptable to long and two-dimensional media. On one surface of a rectangular head substrate having long and short sides, a strip-like heating element is provided continuously from end to end of the substrate along the long side thereof. A pair of electrode connecting portions including the same material as that of the heating element and extending along the short sides of the substrate is provided at both ends of the heating element. A pair of electrodes is formed on one surface of the substrate between the heating element and a side edge of the long side at the electrode connecting portion side, so as to be partially overlapping with the electrode connecting portions, respectively, thereby effecting electrical connection, and a substrate temperature control means is provided.

摘要: The intermediate sheet feeding device for a duplex image forming apparatus includes: an intermediate tray; an sheet input conveyance path to the intermediate tray; a sheet output conveyance path from the intermediate tray; the sheet input conveyance path and the sheet output conveyance path being arranged to intersect each other at one end of the intermediate sheet tray; a conveying roller provided along the conveyance path from the image processing portion to the intermediate tray; and a conveyance controlling means which controls the conveying roller so as to convey the sheet at a speed lower than that when the sheet advances through the image processing portion and so that a short-sized sheet is conveyed slower than a long-sized sheet. Further, a configuration for preventing sheet curl includes: a presser member for pressing the rear end of a sheet input above the intermediate tray against the intermediate tray; and a lift stopper member pivotally supported at an axle below the input roller so as to inhibit the pop-up of the rear ends of sheets.

摘要: In order to improve the resolution of a LED printing head by a comparatively simple method, optical shutters (28) are provided between two rows of rod lens arrays (26) and LED arrays (18) correspondingly to the rod lens arrays (26). The central optical axes of rod lenses (24) in the rod lens arrays (26) are inclined by an angle of inclination 0 in the opposite directions with respect to the direction of perpendicular lines passing the centers of the light-emitting surfaces of LED's (14), and signal light sent out from the LED's (14) is condensed on a photosensitive surface (20) alternately via predetermined rod lens arrays (26) so that one line is formed on the photosensitive surface (20).

摘要: The present invention provides a thermal head including a substrate of alumina, a glaze layer formed on the substrate and patterning resistor and electrode layers on the glaze layer. The thermal head is of a whole glaze type in which a heating section is formed on the glaze layer at or adjacent to the edge portion thereof or of a partial glaze type in which a heating section is formed on the glaze layer at or adjacent to its partially cut edge portion. Thus, the thermal head can print more clearly.

摘要: A sheet supplying device supplies a sheet to a sheet supplied apparatus which designates the size and transport direction of the sheet. The sheet supplying device includes a transport path for transporting therethrough the sheet to the sheet supplied apparatus, a movable cassette for placing the sheet and movable to at least two transport positions so as to transport the sheet in at least two transport directions, and a fixed cassette for placing the sheet and fixed in one transport position so as to transport the sheet in one transport direction. The sheet supplying device further includes a control device for selecting either the movable cassette or the fixed cassette and for ordering the movable cassette to move to a transport position corresponding to the designated transport direction. The sheet supplying device also includes a transport device for transporting the sheet from the selected cassette through the transport path.
