The server sends data to the terminals via the network and the network connects the server and the plurality of terminals, and the terminal includes a network interface unit that connects to the network and communicates with the other terminals or the server via the network, a storage unit that stores reception data and information on missing of data, a detection unit that detects that the reception data is missing or damaged, and a controller that controls the network interface unit to send a repair request message to the other terminals through multicast when the detection unit detects missing or damaged data of data received from the server, and that controls the network interface unit to send a repair request message to the server when there is not requested data in the other terminals.
Abstract:
An optical line terminal connecting with numbers of optical network units comprises a control unit which controls each optical network unit to make it operate in a first mode in which transmission and reception of control messages and data are possible or in a second mode in which the transmission and reception of control messages are possible but the transmission of data is impossible, according to a communication permission request transmitted from an optical network unit and based on a preset maximum number of optical network units permitted to execute upstream communication from the optical network unit to the optical line terminal.
Abstract:
A system includes a contents management server that manages the locations of contents, a contents server that manages contents, a client terminal that receives or stores contents, and a network. The client terminal sends a contents sending request message to the contents management server. The contents management server, which has received the request from the client terminal, detects the network to which the client terminal belongs, instructs the contents server, which manages the network, to stream the contents. After that, the contents management server checks if there is a client terminal related to the client terminal that has sent the contents sending request. If there is a related client terminal, the contents management server instructs the contents server, which manages a network to which the related terminal belongs, to store the contents.
Abstract:
A base station and control method thereof for wireless communication network is provided. The base station comprises: transceiver unit for transmitting and receiving of data with communication nodes and terminals; location information storage unit for storing location information of the terminal in the wireless communication network; range expanding condition information storage unit for storing range expanding condition information of respective communication node which each terminal corresponding to; and control unit for determining a service strategy for the terminals based at least on the location information of the terminal in the wireless communication network and the range expanding condition information of respective communication node which each terminal corresponding to. It is expected to give full play to advantages of eICIC and CoMP for the real channel state of different terminals, achieve combination or conversion between them, so as to optimize the overall network design.
Abstract:
Disclosed are a communication control device, a communication control method and the system thereof, which provide efficient multi-base station joint services in a mobile communication system using dynamic clustering. Optimal base station clustering is chosen according to the communication state between a terminal and each base station. The communication control device connects with multiple base stations through a network, and clusters the multiple base stations dynamically so that the clustered multiple base stations can provide services for the mobile terminal in union. The communication control device comprises: an interface, connecting with multiple base stations, receiving channel state information related to the mobile terminal from each base station; a memory unit, storing the channel state information of the mobile terminal received from the interface; a control unit, clustering each base station dynamically according to the channel state information of the mobile terminal stored in the memory unit.
Abstract:
A radio communication system for connecting mobile nodes to public network, include base stations connected to mobile nodes by radio, node registration devices connected to control the stations and register node registration information representing contents of node connection to the node registration device through the station into node information management device which is connected to public network and manages mobile node address information in registration information registered by the node registration devices. A combination of the base station and node registration device controlling the station and a combination of the station, node registration device controlling the station, other node registration device and one or a plurality of the node information management device constitute different communication routes any of which is utilized to realize connection from node to public network.
Abstract:
With respect to a communication operation between networks having no connection permission, a connection control apparatus calculates a communicatable detour communication path from a connection policy database, and in such a case that a communication operation can be carried out between these networks having no connection permission, the connection control apparatus permits the communication operation via a detour communication path after authentication.
Abstract:
A passive optical network system according to the present invention includes an optical network unit and an optical line terminal connected to a plurality of optical network units. The optical line terminal has: an interface which receives from the optical network unit, a logical link assignment request message containing a communication priority for deciding a priority of a communication flow between a source terminal and a destination terminal, from the destination; and a control unit which assigns a logical link identifier for identifying a communication flow to the logical link assignment request message received from the interface and controls the interface so as to communicate with the optical network unit by using the communication priority.
Abstract:
Disclosed here is an integrated application system for enabling a new application to be added and a user to select an optional application easily. The integrated application system includes a plurality of clients for receiving services from a plurality of application servers for supplying a plurality of services and a management apparatus for controlling services supplied by the application servers to the clients according to an integrated service starting request from any of clients. Each of the clients includes a client management unit for controlling participation of a plurality of application clients corresponding to a plurality of services in an integrated service. The client management unit selects each application used in the integrated service and a client that participates in the integrated service respectively and sends an integrated service starting request to the management apparatus while the management apparatus instructs each of the selected application servers to start a service according to the integrated service starting request from the client management unit.
