    摘要: In a system for recording and reproducing digital signals on a magnetic tape using a rotary head, in which the signals are recorded as a series of slanted tracks without guard bands between adjacent slanted tracks, a pilot signal that was recorded during the recording process is used to control the tracking of the playback head. The pilot signal is recorded at a specific position in a specific pilot signal record region, independent from the region of the track at which the informational signal is recorded and the pilot signal is arranged at a predetermined position or positions being a specified distance from an end of each track in its longitudinal direction and only alternate tracks receive such pilot signal. When the recorded tracks are reproduced by a rotary playback head having a tracing width that is greater than the width of the track, the pilot signals from the adjacent tracks will be detected and can be compared in level, with the comparison output being used to control the tracking of the rotary playback head.

    摘要: In a tracking control apparatus for controlling tracking alignment of a rotary head with respect to record tracks appearing in succession on a record medium and in each of which there are recorded, at predetermined positions varying from track to track in accordance with a predetermined repeating sequence, pilot signals for controlling tracking and position detecting signals having different recorded length and which identify the positions of the pilot signals. An identifying signal for identifying the recorded length of a position detecting signal recorded in a track being traced by the rotary head is generated from the output of the rotary head, and a sampling signal is generated in response to the identifying signal for sampling a pilot signal reproduced as cross-talk from an adjacent track so as to reduce the pull-in time of the tracking alignment operation.

    摘要: A waste processing apparatus which can easily and efficiently process waste, a waste recovery system using this apparatus and a liquid container ideal for use with the waste processing apparatus and waste recovery system. The waste processing apparatus comprises a processing part for processing supplied waste (for example foam polystyrene) with a processing liquid (for example limonene) and a storing part for storing produced liquid (for example limonene containing dissolved foam polystyrene) produced in this processing part and provided with a removable liquid container constructed to both supply processing liquid to the processing part and receive produced liquid produced by the waste processing apparatus. In the waste recovery system, the liquid container is removed from the waste processing apparatus after receiving the produced liquid and carried to a waste recycling apparatus, the produced liquid is transferred from the liquid container into the waste recycling apparatus, waste or waste and processing liquid is recovered from the produced liquid by the waste recycling apparatus and the empty liquid container is filled with new or recycled processing liquid and returned to the waste processing apparatus again.

Position detecting signals having various recording lengths are also recorded in the pilot signal region in such a manner that the start position of each position detecting signal corresponds substantially to the center portion of the pilot signal on an adjacent track. When the recorded tracks are reproduced by a rotary playback head having a tracing width greater than the track width, the pilot signals from the two tracks adjacent to the reproduced track on either side thereof are sampled by sampling pulses generated in response to the reproduced position detecting signal and compared in level, and the comparison output is used to control the tracking alignment of the rotary playback head.

When the recorded tracks are reproduced by a rotary playback head having a tracing width greater than the track width, the pilot signals from the adjacent tracks will be detected and compared in level, and the comparison output used to control the tracking alignment of the rotary playback head.
