摘要： A wheel support bearing assembly for rotatably supporting a wheel 13 relative to a vehicle body structure 12 includes outer and inner members 1 and 2 with dual rows of rolling elements 3 interposed therebetween. An electric generator 4 for generating an electric power as one of the inner and outer members 1 and 2 rotates relative to the other of the inner and outer members 1 and 2 is utilized. The electric generator 4 includes a coil/magnetic element combination 17, including a ring member accommodating a coil therein, and a multi-pole magnet 18. A signal outputted from the electric generator 4 and indicative of the number of revolutions of the wheel 13 is transmitted wireless by a transmitter 5. This transmitter 5 may be an annular transmitter.

摘要： To provide a rotation detecting device with a function of transmitting a rotational speed detection signal wireless and enable the rotation detecting device to be assembled compact in size without requiring any anti-rusting treatment to a multi-pole magnet assembly and a magnetic ring assembly, the rotation detecting device includes an electric power generator (11) for generating an electric power by a relative rotation between a non-rotatable member (1) and a rotatable member (7). The electric power generator (11) includes a multi-pole magnet assembly (13) and a magnetic ring assembly (12). A wireless transmission device (14) for transmitting the rotational speed detection signal outputted by the electric power generator (11) is employed. A sealing member (18) is also employed for sealing a working space delimited between the non-rotatable member (1) and the rotatable member (7), and the multi-pole magnet assembly (13) and the magnetic ring assembly (12) of the electric power generator (11) confront with each other at a location inwardly of the sealing member (18). The sealing member (18) is mounted on the magnetic ring assembly (12) or the wireless transmission device (14) of an annular configuration.

摘要： To provide a wheel support bearing assembly having a capability of detecting the number of revolutions of a wheel, having no risk of breaking of wire outside a vehicle body, capable of reducing the weight and cost of an automotive vehicle. This wheel support bearing assembly for rotatably supporting a wheel 13 relative to a vehicle body structure 12 includes an outer member 1 having its inner periphery formed with plural rows of raceways 6 and 7, an inner member 2 having raceways 8 and 9 confronting respectively to the raceways 6 and 7, and rows of rolling elements 3 accommodated respectively between the raceways. An electric generator 4 for generating an electric power as one of the outer and inner members 1 and 2 rotates relative to the other of the outer and inner members 1 and 2. A signal indicative of the number of revolutions of the wheel 13 outputted from the electric generator 4 is transmitted wireless by mean of a wireless transmitting means 5A.
