    摘要: Titanium having a thermal shrinkage factor close to that of Nb.sub.3 Sn superconducting wire, whereby it gives rise to little degradation of the properties of the superconducting wire and also offers a good balance between strength and toughness at liquid helium temperature, making it highly suitable as a conduit pipe material used as a seal for liquid helium for high-magnetic-field superconducting coil applications. The present invention focusses on the major effect on strength and toughness of titanium material that the oxygen content has, and appropriately controls the oxygen and other impurities content of pure titanium to provide titanium material comprising, in mass %, 0.07 to 0.13 percent O, up to 0.10 percent Fe, up to 0.10 percent C+N, and up to 0.005 percent H, with the remainder being Ti and unavoidable impurities, said titanium exhibiting mechanical properties and fracture toughness of base metal and welded portions which meet the requirements for use as titanium for conductor conduit in superconducting coil.

    摘要: In a process for the production of cold rolled ferritic stainless steel sheets or strips, a hot rolled strips has been annealed by a long time batchwise annealing and cold rolling and recrystallization annealing have been repeated usually twice. In the present invention, a hot rolled steel strip of an Al-containing ferritic stainless steel is heated by continuous annealing to a temperature of from 850.degree. to 1100.degree. C., AlN (aluminum nitride) is precipitated in the dispersed state and then cooling the strip to a temperature of 700.degree. to 900.degree. C., performing subsequent cooling to a level not higher than 200.degree. C. at such a cooling rate that a chromium depletion layer, which causes a gold dust defect, is not formed around the chromium carbonitride. Single cold rolling and recrystallization annealing are carried out in combination until the thickness is reduced to the gauge thickness.

    摘要: There is disclosed an energy feeding device for installation in a high frequency heating appliance which includes a heating chamber, a high frequency oscillator for supplying a high frequency energy to the heating chamber, a waveguide for transmitting the high frequency electromagnetic wave generated from the high frequency oscillator, and a rotary antenna for radiating the high frequency electromagnetic wave so transmitted by the waveguide into the heating chamber. The rotary antenna has a revolving drive shaft, made of a material with a low dielectric loss and is connected to a drive source, a metal pipe which is connected to the revolving drive shaft at its socket end. The socket end of the metal pipe is expanded and rounded off, thereby substantially preventing sparking under light load.

    摘要: Microwave heating apparatus employing at least one surface waveguide which is provided in a lower portion of the apparatus below an article to be heated receives microwave output, directly or via a tubular waveguide, from an oscillator means, and acts to concentrate microwave energy in a specific region of the apparatus, whereby heating is rendered more efficient and unevenness of heating in the vertical plane is avoided. For improved evenness of heating in the horizontal plane the surface waveguide may be rotated either by separate drive means or by air supplied to cool the oscillator means, or the article to be heated may be rotated or moved reciprocally while the surface waveguide is moving or is stationary. The improved concentration of microwave energy permits greater economy, and offers a particular advantage for producing highly a baked or hardened outer surface without overheating of other portions of an article to be heated.

    摘要: The present invention provides a high frequency heating apparatus having a structure, which can be mounted/dismounted an air-exhausting grille without any tools. In this apparatus, an air-exhausting grille is arranged by that a fixing claw portion having a bent Z-shape, a fixing hooking portion having a concave notch, and a magneto joint plate are arranged, whereas a main body located opposite to the air-exhausting grille is arranged by that a slit hole, a hooking flange, and a magneto fixing plate are arranged.
