    摘要: A cooling fin structure used in a cooler for an electric device includes a plurality of pin fins (71) arranged in a zigzag form in a coolant passage (80). Each of the pin fins (71) has a circular portion (72) having a circular cross-section, and irregularly shaped portions (73) provided contiguously on the upstream and downstream sides of the circular portion (72) as viewed in a direction of flow of the coolant. The irregularly shaped portions (73) have an outer peripheral surface (75) that is formed along a circumference (130) having a center at a center point (101) of the circular portion (72) of a pin fin (71, 71B) that is located adjacent to the pin fin (71, 71A) having the irregularly shaped portions (73), in an oblique direction relative to the direction of flow of the coolant.

    摘要: An electric rotating machine is provided which includes a stator in which a coil is so wound as to have an coil end and a coolant channel. The coolant channel has defined therein a flow path through which coolant flows and a flow separator disposed in the flow path and a first and a second coolant outlet. The flow separator works to separate a flow of the coolant into at least a first and a second coolant streams. The first coolant outlet communicates with the first coolant stream, while the second coolant outlet communicates with the second coolant stream. The first and second coolant outlets drain the coolant to different portions of the coil end, thereby cooling almost the whole of the coil end even when the electric rotating machine is tilted undesirably.

A heat exchanger has flow paths formed by being closed by an upper plate and a lower plate which have rectilinearly formed upstanding fins parallelly arranged at specific intervals, and gaps extend between adjacent fins in the top-bottom direction along the direction in which the fins extend. Either of or both the upper plate and the lower plate are provided with projections arranged in the longitudinal direction of the flow path and projecting inward of the flow path.

    摘要: An electric rotating machine is provided which includes a stator in which a coil is so wound as to have an coil end and a coolant channel. The coolant channel has defined therein a flow path through which coolant flows and a flow separator disposed in the flow path and a first and a second coolant outlet. The flow separator works to separate a flow of the coolant into at least a first and a second coolant streams. An end plate includes an annular plate portion arranged to be spaced from a rotor in an axial direction and secured to a rotation shaft, and a tubular portion protruding from an outer edge of the annular plate portion to abut on an axial end surface of the rotor. A partition plate arranged between the rotor and an end plate forms a first space between the rotor and the partition plate and a second space between the annular plate portion and the partition plate. A communication passage allowing the first space and the second space to communicate with each other is formed in the partition plate at a radially outer side relative to a permanent magnet. A through hole extending through the annular plate portion in the axial direction is formed in the annular plate portion at a radially inner side relative to the permanent magnet.

    摘要: The electric rotating machine includes a rotor relatable around a rotating shaft disposed horizontally, a stator core formed with slots, and a stator coil constituted of in-slot portions each of which is accommodated in a corresponding one of the slots, and turn portions each of which connects corresponding adjacent two of the in-slot portions at a position outside the stator core. The turn portions form a coil end projecting axially outward from an end surface of the stator core at each of both axial end sides of the stator core. The coil end is formed in a cylindrical shape including an axial end surface of a flat shape, and inner and outer peripheral surfaces of a circular shape. The electric rotating machine further includes a coolant supply section to supply coolant to an upper part of the outer peripheral surface of the coil end.

    摘要: An electric rotating machine includes a rotor, a stator in which a coil is so wound as to have an coil end, and a coolant supply pipe. The coolant supply pipe lies with a length thereof extending substantially parallel to an axis of rotation of the rotor and is disposed above the stator in a direction of gravitational force. The coolant supply pipe has a first and a second coolant outlet through which coolant is to be emitted to the coil end. The first and the second coolant outlets are so oriented as to direct streams of the coolant to a first area and a second area of the coil end which are different in location from each other. This enables the coolant to be emitted to almost the whole of the coil end even when the electric rotating machine is titled in a direction in which the rotor turns.
