    摘要: Provided is a low odor hair conditioning composition which is free of oily and greasy feel upon finish, and can impart good manageability and moisturized feel. Specifically provided is a hair conditioning composition including a component (A): a compound represented by a general formula (1) R1O—(PO)n/(EO)m—R2 (1), where R1 represents a straight or branched, alkyl or alkenyl group having 8 to 12 carbon atoms, PO represents a propyleneoxy group, EO represents an ethyleneoxy group, an average addition mole number “n” represents a number of 1.5 to 3.0, an average addition mole number “m” represents a number of 0 to 1.0, and R2 represents a hydrogen atom or a methyl group; and a component (B): a surfactant other than the component (A), wherein a content of R1OH, where R1 represents a straight or branched, alkyl or alkenyl group having 8 to 12 carbon atoms, is 80 ppm or less.
