摘要： The present invention relates to a hair cosmetic composition including a surfactant and a cationized hydroxypropyl cellulose, wherein the cationized hydroxypropyl cellulose contains a main chain derived from an anhydroglucose represented by the following general formula (1) and has a cationized ethyleneoxy group substitution degree of from 0.01 to 2.5 and a propyleneoxy group substitution degree of from 0.1 to 2.8, wherein R1, R2 and R3 are each independently a substituent group including a cationized ethyleneoxy group and a propyleneoxy group; and n represents an average polymerization degree of the anhydroglucose and is a number of from 50 to 5000. The hair cosmetic composition of the present invention exhibits a less stickiness after use and is capable of imparting excellent run fingers through hair, coating feel and manageability to hair.

摘要： The present invention provides a polymer emulsion which contains polymer particles having an average particle size of not more than 30 &mgr;m and having core-parts and shell-parts; which is composed of chitosan (a) and a polymer (b) of organic acids having a reactive vinyl group or a salt thereof, as constituent component of shell-part, and composed of a polymer (c) of hydrophobic monomers, as constituent component of core-part. Further, the present invention provides a coloring agent particle comprising a polymer particle in the above-mentioned polymer emulsion; and wherein a coloring material (k) is present in the shell-part and/or core-part. Furthermore, the present invention provides a deodorizing fiber wherein a polymer particle in the above-mentioned polymer emulsion is present on the surface of the fiber.

摘要： An amphoteric porous particulate containing a basic polysaccharide and a polymer of an organic acid containing a reactive vinyl group or a salt thereof and having an average particle size of 50 .mu.m or less, is capable of adsorbing a large amount of an acid or a base that is stronger than the acid or basic groups thereof and is useful in a deodorant or a cosmetic. The amphoteric porous particulate is made by emulsifying or suspending an aqueous solution containing a basic polysaccharide and an organic acid having a reactive vinyl group in a hydrophobic solvent, followed by polymerization. A deodorant may be made of a chitosan particulate having an average particle size of 0.01 to 50 .mu.m. A polysiloxane having long-chain alkyl groups and a melting point of 20.degree. C. or above is useful as an oil component of a deodorant.
