    摘要: An X-DSL modem supporting multiple X-DSL line codes including discrete multi-tone (DMT) and carrierless phase and amplitude (CAP). The modem includes: components coupled to one another to form a transmit path and a receive path. The components include an encoder component and a Fourier transform component. The encoder component encodes data associated with a CAP communication channel into QAM symbols and encodes data associated with a DMT communication channel into DMT sub-symbols. The Fourier transform component couples to the encoder component on the transmit path for transforming DMT sub-symbols from a frequency-to-time domain and for transforming QAM symbols from the time-to-frequency domain followed by a filtering in the frequency domain and a subsequent transformation back from the frequency-to-time domain to effect a pulse shaping function without requiring a discrete pulse shaping component in the transmit path.

    摘要: This disclosure describes techniques for providing a wireless communication device with context-based voicemail messaging. In reply to a call, a wireless communication device may select a message based on a context. As an example, a wireless communication system may detect a call directed to a wireless communication device from a caller, generate one of a plurality of reply messages for the caller based on a context of the wireless communication device derived from input information received by at least one input of the wireless communication device, and transmit the generated reply message to the caller. In some cases, the message may be selected based on both context and caller identity. In addition, the message may be selected based at least in part on analysis of a pattern of usage or user activity with respect to the wireless communication device.

    摘要: An electronic device for suppressing noise in an audio signal is described. The electronic device includes a processor and instructions stored in memory. The electronic device receives an input audio signal and computes an overall noise estimate based on a stationary noise estimate, a non-stationary noise estimate and an excess noise estimate. The electronic device also computes an adaptive factor based on an input Signal-to-Noise Ratio (SNR) and one or more SNR limits. A set of gains is also computed using a spectral expansion gain function. The spectral expansion gain function is based on the overall noise estimate and the adaptive factor. The electronic device also applies the set of gains to the input audio signal to produce a noise-suppressed audio signal and provides the noise-suppressed audio signal.
