摘要: A method for triggering solenoid valves assigned to gas-exchange valves in an electrohydraulic valve activation of an internal combustion engine having a plurality of combustion chambers. The solenoid valves assigned to the gas-exchange valves may be activated independently of each other. To this end, crankshaft-synchronous trigger signal for solenoid valves of the internal combustion engine are ascertained in a control unit and transmitted to an output stage. The output stage controls the solenoid valves on the basis of the transmitted trigger signals. Each combustion chamber of the internal combustion engine has at least one intake valve and at least one discharge valve as gas-exchange valve. All solenoid valves of all gas-exchange valves of a combustion chamber form a solenoid-valve set. One activation profile in each case is specified for all solenoid valves of a solenoid valve set. In the control unit, a crankshaft-synchronous activation signal is ascertained for each combustion chamber and supplied to the output stage. The output stage triggers the solenoid valves of the solenoid-valve set on the basis of the activation signal of the cylinders according to the activation profile stored for the individual solenoid valve.

摘要: In an hydraulic actuator, a movement of an actuating element of the actuator is effected in that a working chamber of the actuator, with the aid of a valve device, is able to be selectively connected to, and disconnected from, a fluid reservoir in which pressurized hydraulic fluid is stored. The lift of the actuating element of the actuator is a function of a fluid volume present in the working chamber. It is provided that, to ascertain an instantaneous operating performance of the actuator, the working chamber is briefly connected to the fluid reservoir, the corresponding pressure drop in the fluid reservoir is recorded, and the corresponding lift is determined from the pressure drop with the aid of known geometrical variables of the actuator.

摘要: A method of determining a measurement value (U.sub.-- M) utilizes a calibrating operation and a measuring operation together with an operational amplifier (OP) having an output voltage (U.sub.-- A). The measurement value (U.sub.-- M) represents a current (I) flowing through a load (L) in a motor vehicle having a battery. The battery has a terminal of high potential and a terminal of low potential with the difference between the potentials being the battery voltage (U.sub.-- BATT). The load (L) is connected into a load current circuit and a measuring resistor (R.sub.-- M) also is connected into the load current circuit conducting a load current (I) which, in turn, causes a voltage (R.sub.-- M.cndot.I) to drop across the measuring resistor (R.sub.-- M). The method includes the steps of: amplifying the voltage R.sub.-- M.cndot.I across the measuring resistor (R.sub.-- M) utilizing the operational amplifier (OP); performing the calibrating operation with a sequence of substeps; and, performing the measuring operation with a further sequence of substeps to obtain the measurement value (U.sub.-- M). In this way, the previously required balancing of resistors in the calibrating operation can be omitted.

摘要: A system for monitoring the operability of a probe heating device is introduced which comprises a probe heater, an arrangement which supplies the probe heater with the necessary electrical energy and the corresponding supply leads. The essence of the invention is that the heating current for a probe heater causes a measuring voltage on a measuring resistor connected in series with the probe heater. The measuring voltage is compared to a further voltage which is emitted by a reference element. The reference element is at a similar temperature as the measuring resistor or receives a measuring signal which corresponds to the temperature of the measuring resistor and emits a voltage which has a similar temperature response as the measuring voltage. By means of this comparison of both voltages, it is possible to conclude as to the current flowing through the heater and therefore as to the operability of the probe heating device without switching too high a resistor in series with the probe heater.

摘要: A device for monitoring at least two electromagnetic valves of an internal combustion engine in a motor vehicle. An actual current that is independent of the other valves may be supplied to each valve. A setpoint current is preselected for each valve. Measuring devices are provided for measuring the actual currents supplied to the valves. A control unit is used to add the measured actual currents to yield a total actual current. Due to the control unit, the setpoint currents are added to yield a total setpoint current and compared to the total actual current. This comparison is used by the control unit for monitoring the valves and/or their interconnections.
