摘要： Devices, methods of manufacture, kits and methods of use for attracting aquatic animals to be caught are provided. In various embodiments the device includes a body, with an interior bar extending lengthwise in a channel in the body, an anterior loop and exterior loop on the anterior end and posterior ends of the bar respectively, a plate set into a transverse dorsal exterior slot in the body, and a weight in an interior chamber. The anterior loop of the device is attached to a vessel and the posterior loop is attached to one or more lures for hooking aquatic animals. In various embodiments the device is manufactured and/or painted to resemble a bait fish.

摘要： A barrel lock and a key for locking and unlocking the barrel lock. The lock has a hollow barrel with a spring loaded plunger that reciprocates within the bore of the barrel. A recess is provided in an axial blind bore formed in the rear end of the plunger, the recess defining a gripping surface for unlocking the barrel lock. A spring loaded baffle washer having a key central aperture is positioned within the barrel bore rearwardly of the plunger. The baffle washer limits access to the plunger and prevents unauthorized unlocking of the barrel lock.The key has elongated outer expanding fingers and an inner coaxially arranged expander rod. The expanding fingers are sized and shaped so that they can pass entirely through the key central aperture of the baffle washer. When the key is fully inserted into the lock and the key handle is operated, the expanding fingers radially expand and press against the gripping surface in the blind bore. As the handle is operated further, the expanding fingers longitudinally retract to draw the plunger rearwardly permitting the lock to unlock. If an unauthorized key or nail is inserted into the barrel lock, the plunger spring holds the plunger in its forward locking position as the unauthorized key or nail pulls the baffle washer rearwardly, preventing the lock from unlocking.

摘要： A method of making an elliptoidal internal journal type wave generator for use with a flexspline, the latter having internal spline teeth, an outer diameter (O.D.) designated two times the radius (R), and a radial deflection (d) for spline meshing at minor axis localities with diametrically opposed spline teeth of at least one rigid circular spline, the method comprising:a. providing a circular wave generator ring with a radially inner wall diameter (I.D.) equal to twice R plus three times d, and a ring thickness 1.3 to 1.4 times the inner wall I.D.;b. opening the ring by forming only one gap at least eight times d in circumferential dimension;c. radially reducing the ring portion diametrically opposite to the gap to enhance radial flexibility of the ring while still enabling it to maintain its I.D. dimension;d. compressing the ring along an axis perpendicular to a median through the gap and the reduced portion to circumferentially decrease the gap until permanent deformation occurs establishing a minor axis dimension in the ring corresponding to loose meshing of the spline teeth; ande. further closing the gap to selectively decrease the minor axis dimension to enable the ring to preload the spline teeth.

摘要： A high security spring lock and an associated key for locking and unlocking the lock. The lock has a cylindrical barrel with an axial bore. A main compression spring and a secondary compression spring are coaxially mounted in the bore and bear against each other and against opposite ends of the bore. A pair of locking balls constrained for limited movement in radially extending passageways are held radially outward in a locking position by the main compression spring.The key has elongated outer expanding fingers and an inner coaxially arranged center pin. When the key is fully inserted into the lock and the key handle is operated, the expanding fingers are initially radially expanded to grip the inner surface of the main compression spring and are then longitudinally retracted to draw the main compression spring rearwardly. Simultaneously, the key center pin prevents the secondary compression spring from expanding to follow the rearwardly drawn main compression spring, thereby permitting the locking balls to move radially inward to an unlocking position.

摘要： A ball bearing separator assembly comprising an annular ball separator having partitions extending axially from one side thereof, which partitions are abuttable with an annular retention ring, thus forming a circumferential array of ball pockets for bearings.The retention ring may have an axial array of fingers which snap into channels or voids in the partitions to lock them together. The ball separator in another embodiment may have pins which extend from the distal end of the molded separator partitions, which pins may mate with corresponding orifii in the retention ring. The pins may be distorted after mating with their respective orifii to secure the retention ring to the distal ends of the partitions on the ball separator.The annular body portions of the separator and its associated retention ring may be of reduced radial dimension adjacent the ball pockets thereof, to permit flexure of the separator assembly during rotation with a bearing about non-circular harmonic drive-type wave generator mechanisms.

摘要： A variable length balloon catheter is provided. The balloon catheter includes a catheter shaft having a distal portion, a balloon and an adjustment device. The balloon is in fluid communication with a distal end of the catheter shaft. The adjustment device includes an outer sleeve and an attachment structure. The outer sleeve is configured to be generally co-axially received over the distal portion of the catheter shaft and includes a distal end configured to restrict inflation proximal the distal end. Further, the outer sleeve is configured such that at least a portion of the outer sleeve is slidable relative to the distal portion of the catheter shaft such that a distal end of the outer sleeve relative to the balloon can be varied. The attachment structure is similarly disposed at the distal portion of the catheter shaft and is configured to selectively secure at least a portion of the outer sleeve to the distal portion of the catheter shaft such that the outer sleeve will not move upon inflation of the balloon.

摘要： A strain wave gearing device comprising a ring gear having internal axially extending teeth and a strain gear produced from a strain gear blank having constant thickness to the cylindrical and diaphragm portions. The cylindrical portion has external axially extending teeth extending around an annular portion adjacent the open end of the strain gear for engaging with the internal teeth of the ring gear (the number of external teeth on the strain gear being different than the number of internal teeth on the ring gear) and a wave generator is located within and matingly engages with the strain gear. The wave generator adapted to be rotatively driven relative to the strain gear whereby relative rotational movement will occur between the strain and ring gears.

摘要： For use with an electric meter having a flanged receptacle for holding the meter works and a flanged glass bowl for covering the meter works, a locking ring assembly consisting of a two-piece circular locking ring having two substantially semicircular sections for locking the glass bowl to the receptacle. One of the semicircular sections has a hinge fitting at one end and a radially extending leg at the other end. The other semicircular section has a mating hinge fitting at one end and a radially extending mating leg at the other end. The fittings are hingedly attached so that the two sections can be pivotally spread apart about the hinge axis of the fitting. This hinged connection permits the sections to be manually spread apart and easily applied over and around the flanges of the meter receptacle and the glass bowl. The radially extending mating legs have circular openings which are in axial alignment when the legs are drawn towards each other for clamping the glass bowl to the receptacle. When the legs are drawn towards each other, tension is exerted on the hinged connection. The tension on the hinged connection holds the ring sections together in an interlocked arrangement and hampers unauthorized access to the meter works.
