摘要: A fluorescent lamp assembly comprises a light-transmissive envelope having an inner surface, wherein the inner surface is coated with phosphor, a quantity of an ionizable material such as mercury, along with a filled gas such as Noble gas Ar, is filled and sealed inside said envelope, at least one electrical terminal is set at one end of said envelope, at least one base is made of material with low thermal conductivity, and at least one pin is set on said at least one base and connected to said at least one electrical terminal. In the sleeved lamp assembly, the thermal insulating base restricts heat transfer from the lamp to ambient air outside the lamp. For application at a low temperature, good thermal insulating can reduce the need of power consumption of the lamp, and make the lamp energy efficient.

摘要: A method includes provisioning a multi-mode wireless communications terminal with at least one system priority list (SPL) having information that identifies a plurality of wireless network system types and, for each identified wireless network system type, at least one wireless network of that type. The method selects from the SPL a wireless network for service selectively based on one of a manually specified priority, a priority specified automatically and a priority that is specified for use automatically only during a power-on mode of operation.

摘要: A medication infusion system having an integrated dose rate calculation feature for selectively assigning values to a plurality of infusion parameters and automatically calculating an infusion rate from the selected parameters. One embodiment includes a stored list of drug names having associated dose rate and concentration units that are automatically set when a drug name is selected from the list. Another embodiment includes "Fast" softkeys that can be programmed to display parameter values or drug names in a predetermined sequence. The dose rate calculation feature may also be used during infusion to titrate the dosage being delivered to the patient for improved therapeutic results. The stored list of drug names and associated infusion parameters may be altered by qualified personnel using an external programming source running specialized software.
