The tape-end sensor includes a light emitter mounted on the deck to project a light onto the tape being drawn and run from the tape cassette, a light receiver receiving light projected from the light emitter and transmitted through the tape, and a light interrupter blocking light projected to the light receiver that does not pass through the running tape.

摘要： A magnetic recording and reproducing apparatus is provided which comprises a deck mounted with a drum motor and a capstan shaft, a main sliding member slidably installed on the deck and being driven by a driving force of the drum motor, a pivot lever rotatably installed on the deck and supporting a pinch roller for guiding a tape to be in contact with the capstan shaft, a review arm rotatably installed on the deck and being connected to the pivot lever by means of an elastic member, and a compressing lever for connecting the review arm and the sliding member. The compressing lever is driven by a driving force from the sliding member, and compresses the review arm in a direction such that the elastic member is stretched. The pivot lever is then rotated by the stretched elastic member and adheres the pinch roller closely to the capstan shaft.

摘要： A method for assembling a head-drum assembly for a magnetic recording/reproducing apparatus is provided. The head-drum assembly is assembled by inserting a shaft to a fixed drum first, setting up a motor stator in the fixed drum, and putting a rotary drum assembly and drum cover assembly into the shaft sequentially. The method can reduce the number of part to be abandoned due to a defect caused in the assembly process by performing a process of assembling the shaft and the fixed drum first, an area in which most defects are caused, and then proceeding to the subsequent assembly processes.

摘要： A battery pack is disclosed, in which terminal members can be fixed to cases, and the entire volume of which can be reduced. The battery pack has a pair of battery cells electrically connected in series to each other. A pair of cases receives the battery cells and each case includes a lid, a cell receiving portion, and a connecting portion. A pair of terminal members is connected to the positive and negative electrodes of the battery cells and is fixed to a case in such a way that they are externally exposed. According to the battery pack, as the battery cells are received so that they are exposed outside the cases, its total volume can be reduced. Further, the terminal members can be easily fixed to the cases.

摘要： Disclosed is a sub-woofer module which has a simple construction and provides a good low-frequency bass in compliance with an audience's taste. The sub-woofer module has an enclosure, a baffle board which separates the enclosure into first and second chambers, and a speaker coupled to the baffle board. The baffle board is engaged with a screw shaft and moves upward and backward along the screw shaft to vary the volume of the first and second chambers. A reverse-conical cap is disposed above the enclosure to permit the upwardly projected sound to be projected in 360 degrees, and a conical base is disposed below the enclosure to permit the downwardly projected sound to be projected in 360 degrees. The audience can listen to sound of the same quality regardless their position in relation to the sub-woofer module.
