摘要: A secure iframe and a combination of security elements are used in rendering a web page of a content provider. The security elements may be both pre-provisioned and executed in real time to allow a third party to securely collect sensitive information while allowing the content provider to retain total control of the look and feel of the web page. A microform within the secure iframe uses a combination of Content Security Policies (CSP), HSTS, and HPKP to generate a secure connection between the iframe and the third party while still allowing the content provider control the look and feel of the iframe. The content provider never handles the sensitive data, reducing the content provider's financial exposure in the event of a data breach. The secure service collects sensitive data and returns a tokenized identifier for use by the content provider when interacting with the customer.

摘要: A method of identifying the operation of an electrical appliance comprising an induction motor is described. The method comprises identifying the operation of an electrical appliance including an induction motor when a path traced by real power values against corresponding reactive power values over a time period of interest comprises one or more substantially circular arcs. The real power values are related to the total real power supplied to one or more electrical appliances as a function of time, and the reactive power values are related to the total reactive power supplied to the one or more electrical appliances as a function of time. There is also described a related method of identifying the operation of a specified type of appliance, in which the operation of said specified type of appliance is dependent on a supply of at least one utility such as electricity, natural gas or water.

摘要: A method of identifying consumption of a utility by devices in a group of devices, wherein each device in the group of devices has a plurality of device-states and is arranged to consume the utility, the method comprising, for a given measurement period in a supply of the utility to the group of devices: obtaining a time-based vector of total levels of consumption of the utility by the group of devices during the given measurement period; for each of a plurality of group-states, wherein each group-state corresponds to each device in the group of devices being in a corresponding device-state, calculating a score representing a likelihood that the group of devices is in the group-state during the given measurement period, wherein said score is based on a likelihood of the obtained vector occurring based on a multivariate statistical model, corresponding to the group-state, of the total level of consumption of the utility by the group of devices during a measurement period in the supply of the utility to the group of devices when the group of devices is in the group-state; and identifying, based at least in part on the calculated scores, a most likely group-state for the group of devices.

摘要: An apparatus has an input section arranged to receive values representative of the total instantaneous supply of electrical current as a function of time from an alternating voltage supply. Current waveforms comprising sets of values representative of the cyclic waveform of the electric current supply are obtained. A delta waveform generator calculates the difference between a current waveform and an earlier current waveform. An edge detector is arranged to detect an edge or edges in the delta waveform. An analysis section is arranged to identify at least one appliance load based at least on information on the edge or edges detected by the edge detector, and to determine the electrical energy consumed by said appliance load. Another apparatus has an input section arranged to receive values representative of the current supplied to an installation, such as a house. A store contains appliance data characteristic of the use of electricity by each of a plurality of appliances. A processor is arranged to analyse the received values to detect when an appliance is switched on and determine the fractional change in resistance of a heating appliance from the when it is switched on until it reaches its operating temperature. This information is used to identify what the particular appliance is, and to determine the electrical energy consumption by that appliance. A utility meter for metering the use of at least one utility supplied to a plurality of appliances is also disclosed. An input section is arranged to receive values representative of the use of a first utility. A store contains appliance data characteristic of the use of utilities by each of a plurality of appliances. A processor is arranged to analyse the received values and to determine information on the use of a second utility by each appliance, based on the received values and appliance data.

摘要: Voltage regulating systems are provided that adjust their output control signals in response to feed-forward information that is indicative of deterministic changes in the load current. A feed-forward circuit provides a feed-forward signal in response to an input signal generated from a source that is external to the voltage regulating system. The voltage regulator systems can proactively respond to the predictive information by adjusting their output, thereby improving the regulation tolerance to dynamic loading. As an example, the feed-forward information can include signals indicating multiple deterministic events that affect the load. Signals from multiple events can be summed together to generate a feed-forward term. As another example, the voltage regulating systems can be responsive to feedback information and feed-forward information from internal to the regulator, in addition to external deterministic information.

摘要: A system for providing updatable secure content resource. A content server may pay a content resource on the content author for an access by a requester. The content server receives a session request call from the requester prior to accessing the content resource. In response to the session request, the content server generates a session for the requester. The content server generates a payload that includes a location identifying the content resource on the content author and embeds the embedded cryptographic content. The content server transmits the generated payload to the requester. A resource server may receive an authentication access request in response to the embedded cryptographic content. In response to authenticating the authentication access request, the resource server provides the access to the requester.
