    摘要: An arrangement includes an A/D converter and a processing circuit. The A/D converter is configured to generate digital samples of voltage and current waveforms in a polyphase electrical system. The processing circuit is operably coupled to receive the digital samples from the A/D converter. The processing circuit configured is to obtain contemporaneous phase current and voltage samples IA, IB, IC and/or IN, and VA, VB, VC. The processing circuit is further configured to determine source leg current sample values based on three of the current samples of IA, IB, IC, and IN, and also based on a ratio of the impedance on one leg of a center-tapped source transformer secondary winding to another secondary winding of a source transformer. The processing circuit is further configured to determine a VA value based at least in part on the source leg current samples. The processing circuit is further configured to provide information representative of the VA calculation to one of a group consisting of a display, a communication circuit, a memory and a billing calculation unit.

    摘要: Techniques for controlling an energy storage device to reduce peak power demand at a site are provided. In one embodiment, instantaneous power usage at the site can be monitored, where the instantaneous power usage corresponds to power that is instantaneously imported or exported at a point of common coupling (PCC) between the site and a utility-managed energy grid. A historical power usage value for the site can then be calculated based on the monitored instantaneous power usage, and the historical power usage value can be compared with a target peak value plus a buffer value. If the historical power usage value exceeds the target peak value plus the buffer value, the target peak value can be set to the historical power usage value.

    摘要: A power measure calculates, based on a current and a voltage measured at a predetermined location in a power supply line, active power and apparent power for each predetermined time period based on utilization of plural kinds of electric facilities connected to the power supply line. A data memory accumulates and stores data regarding the active power and the apparent power calculated by the power measure in a time-series manner. A variation detector analyzes data regarding the active power by what corresponds to a predetermined time period and stored in the data memory to detect a time slot at which there is an operation change in any one of the electric facilities. A distribution estimator calculates, when the variation detector detects the time slot, a power factor in the time slot, and estimates power consumption for each kind of the electric facilities in the time slot.
