摘要: A source device permits a user of a remote device to access a protected file on the source device when the user of the remote device has a right to access the protected file. The user locates the protected file on the source device using the remote device and accesses the protected file using a media player on the remote device. The media player constructs a path by which the source device streams the protected file. The remote device responds to an authentication request from the source device that the user of the remote device has a right to access the protected file. The user is authenticated to confirm that the user of the remote device has a right to access the protected file. The protected file is streamed to the remote device via a path constructed by the remote device.

摘要: A preblend for making lactase tablets is prepared containing about 1-99% (preferably about 200-60%) by weight lactase and about 1-99% (preferably about 40-80%) by weight microcrystalline cellulose. Lactase used in the preblend may be in combination with up to about 4 parts (preferably about 0.5-2 parts) by weight cutting agent such as sugars, starches, cellulose, and inorganic salts for each part by weight lactase. About 0.5-4% by weight lubricant such as magnesium stearate may be present in the preblend. A preferred preblend contains about 9.6 weight percent lactase and about 90 weight percent microcrystalline cellulose, or about 2000 to about 9000 FCC lactase units and from about 40 to about 80 weight percent microcrystalline cellulose. Another preferred preblend contains about 9.6 weight percent lactase, about 30.0 weight percent microcrystalline cellulose and about 59.4 weight percent mannitol. Each preblend may also contain magnesium stearate. A preferred lactase is from Aspergillus oryzae and the microcrystalline cellulose preferably has an average particle size of about 10-200 μm.

摘要: Methods for providing access to third-party content related to a television program of interest to a user via a single user interface. When a user schedules a recording of a television program, the metadata associated with the television program is obtained. At least one broadcast network content provider and at least one non-broadcast network content provider are queried for content relevant to the metadata. Content received from the at least one broadcast network content provider and the at least one non-broadcast network content provider is aggregated by type of media and stored. A navigation strip is rendered providing access to the recorded television program and the content received from the at least one broadcast network content provider and the at least one non-broadcast network content provider.

摘要: The present invention is a composite medical device having a non-bioabsorbable implantable tissue repair or reconstruction component and a resilient bioabsorbable support member component that aids in deployment and placement of the implantable component at a surgical site. Following deployment, the support member component is readily bioabsorbed and removed from the implantable component. The invention is particularly useful in laproscopic, endoluminal, and other surgical procedures.

摘要: A secure handshake service is implemented among a plurality of UPnP (Universal Plug and Play) portable media devices and endpoints in an open network hosting one or more UPnP services. A first portable media device receives a first request for a hosted service from a second portable media device via the network. The first portable media device authenticates authorizes the second portable media device as a function of the certificate of the request. The second portable media device is allowed to access the requested service hosted on the first portable media device if the second portable media device has been authenticated and authorized by the first portable media device.
