摘要: A method for reducing power consumption in a wireless sensor network is provided. An optimized path destined for a sink node is set using a common channel in which first and second nodes use a CSMA scheme. A first channel is set and transmission/reception slots for packet transmission/reception arc allocated in the first channel. A packet is transmitted to the second node through a first transmission slot using a TDMA scheme. When a packet is not received from the second node through a first reception slot within a first set amount of time, the first reception slot is allowed to transition to an inactive state. The first node is one of the sink node, at least one parent node, and at least one child node of the parent node, and the second node is one of child nodes of the first node.

摘要: A method for relaying packets through a relay node in a communication system composed of a source node, a destination node and at least one relay node for transferring the packets transmitted from the source node to the destination node. The relay node compares a potential corresponding to a number of hops and constituting the transferred packets with a stored potential from the destination node. If the stored potential is smaller than the potential constituting the packets, the relay node updates the packet and broadcasts the updated packets. Also, according to a method for setting a route for transmitting packets, packets are broadcast and it is checked whether updated packets obtained by updating the broadcast packets are received. If updated packets are received, an address of a packet transmission node constituting the updated packets is stored and the following packets are transmitted to the node having the stored address.

摘要: A routing method and system for a mobile ad-hoc network is provided for efficiently routing a packet by quickly updating topology information shared by nodes adaptively to variation of the network topology while minimizing generation of redundant traffic. The routing method includes setting, at each current node, a self-potential value to a destination node upon receiving a route recovery request; and transmitting, when a transmission packet is destined to the destination node, the packet through a route established with at least one node in a descending order of potential value. The present invention reduces the redundant traffic dramatically, thereby improving the entire network throughput.

摘要: A method is provided for synchronizing time between nodes in a wireless communication system. A reference node transmits a first packet to a correspondent node. Upon receiving the first packet, the correspondent node transmits a second packet with a reception time of the first packet recorded therein, to the reference node. Upon receiving the second packet, the reference node calculates a forward delay time using a transmission time and the reception time of the first packet. The correspondent node receives a third packet with the forward delay time from the reference node, and calculates a reverse delay time. The correspondent node calculates an offset value for the synchronization using the forward delay time and the reverse delay time.
