Abstract:
A method and an apparatus for providing a character input interface are provided. The method for providing a character input interface in a terminal having a touchscreen, includes simultaneously displaying a first keyboard on a first region and a second keyboard including second keyboard language selection keys on a second region by the touchscreen in a character inputting mode; and changing a language of the second keyboard to a language corresponding to a second touched keyboard language selection key touched while maintaining a language of the first keyboard when input touching the second keyboard language key is received.
Abstract:
A channel scanning method and system at an MP within a mesh network associated with a local network are provided. A MAP sends a local management frame including information about a mesh network on an allocated local channel and sends a mesh management frame on a mesh channel indicated by the mesh network information. An MP scans a plurality of channels including the local channel and the mesh channel in an order of channels numbers, receives the local management frame by scanning the local channel, and receives the mesh management frame by scanning the mesh channel based on the mesh network information of the local management frame.
Abstract:
A tunneling control method and apparatus for a coordinated multi-point transmission, and a method of transmitting data, are provided. The tunneling control method and the data transmission method may minimize a time delay that occurs because of the coordinated multi-point transmission between base stations.
Abstract:
Additives capable of controlling the reaction rate between substrate and enzyme to form a dye in enzyme assays with absorbance, chemiluminescence, and fluorescence are effective tools for optimizing enzyme assays. A dye can be formed rapidly from the reaction between enzyme and substrate in the presence of a catalyst. Using relatively high concentration of dye formed from the rapid reaction, trace levels of analytical materials can be quantified using absorbance, chemiluminecence and fluorescence detection. A dye can be formed from a relatively slow reaction between enzyme and substrate in the presence of a surfactant such as Triton X-100 and β-cyclodextrin. Using relatively low concentration of dye from the slow reaction, a high concentration of analytical material can be quantified without any dilution using absorbance, chemiluminescence, and fluorescence.
Abstract:
Disclosed is a method and a device by which a user can rapidly input characters through multi-input using both hands. When a touch or a drag is generated while input of a key, in which a consonant is arranged, is maintained in a touch screen unit, a switch is made to a multi-input mode for activating the touch screen unit as a virtual area for inputting a vowel, and a vowel input through a touch or a drag on the virtual area is combined with the consonant and the combined character is displayed in the multi-input mode.
Abstract:
A method and apparatus for handover based on a dynamic beamforming scheme, which is adapted to a mobile communication system including a mobile node and a base station, is provided. The apparatus includes a mobile profile information processor configured to process mobile profile information based on a location of the mobile node, and to generate a beamforming control signal according to the mobile profile information; a handover indication message processor configured to generate a first handover indication message incorporating the mobile profile information in preparation for a handover of the mobile node; a transceiver configured to transmit the first handover indication message; and a beamforming controller configured to control beamforming for transmission of the transceiver according to the beamforming control signal.
Abstract:
In a network system based on a content name, a terminal device may generate and transmit a block query requesting a plurality of segments, and may receive segments corresponding to the block query based on a transmission direction of the block query.
Abstract:
A method and apparatus is provided for setting multiple paths between wireless nodes of an ad-hoc network including a source node, a relay node and a destination node that receives a message from the source node via the relay node. The multi-path setting method and apparatus includes receiving previous hop address information, and determining whether a wireless node that receives the previous hop address information is included in an insulating region, based on the previous hop address information.
Abstract:
A method and apparatus is provided for populating and submitting electronic forms by proxy over a data-packet-network. The apparatus comprises a software application running on a system of network-connected servers that enables a user, connected in session with one of the servers, to navigate to a site containing an electronic form and obtain data about the site and about the form. The data obtained is used in conjunction with data about the user to construct a machine readable job order upon user request that may be executed for the purpose of automatic form population and submission to a host sponsoring the site. Upon acceptance of the submitted form, data used for passwords, log-in codes and user-names is returned to a data repository where it is entered along with specific site data as a new registered site item for a registering user such that future navigation to the site, auto log-in and data return may be performed automatically on behalf of the user.
Abstract:
A method and apparatus for scheduling in a Wireless Local Area Network (WLAN) mesh communication system including a plurality of Mesh Access Points (MAPs) are provided, in which, when a message to be transmitted from a first MAP of the MAPs to MAPs adjacent to first MAP is generated, setting a first interval for transmitting the generated message during a predetermined period, and setting a remaining interval excluding the first interval during the predetermined period as a second interval for receiving messages from the adjacent MAPs.
