摘要: Micromachined ultrasonic transducers having a self-assembled monolayer formed on a surface of a sealed cavity are described. A micromachined ultrasonic transducer may include a flexible membrane configured to vibrate over a sealed cavity, and the self-assembled monolayer may coat some or all of the interior surfaces of the sealed cavity. During fabrication, the sealed cavity may be formed by bonding the membrane to a substrate such that the sealed cavity is between the membrane and the substrate. An access hole may be formed through the membrane to the sealed cavity and the self-assembled monolayer is formed on surface(s) of the sealed cavity by introducing precursors into the sealed cavity through the access hole.

摘要: Micromachined ultrasonic transducers having pressure ports are described. The micromachined ultrasonic transducers may comprise flexible membranes configured to vibrate over a cavity. The cavity may be sealed, in some instances by the membrane itself. A pressure port may provide access to the cavity, and thus control of the cavity pressure. In some embodiments, an ultrasound device including an array of micromachined ultrasonic transducers is provided, with pressure ports for at least some of the ultrasonic transducers. The pressure ports may be used to control pressure across the array.

摘要: A resonant converter includes first and second input terminals for applying an input voltage and first and second output terminals for providing an output voltage. A transformer includes a primary winding and a secondary winding, where both the primary winding and the secondary winding have a first and a second terminal. A series resonant circuit includes a capacitive element and the primary winding of the transformer. A switching circuit is connected between the input terminals and the series resonant circuit. A rectifier circuit is connected between the secondary winding and the output terminals. A clamping circuit is connected between one of the first and second terminals of the primary winding and the input terminals.

摘要: An anti dumping switch includes a circular and hollow housing, a bottom surface connected to the housing, a first switch end, a second switch end, a bush, and two balls, the housing and the bottom surface cooperatively defining a accommodating space, the first switch end and the second switch end both extending into the accommodating space through the bottom surface and fixed in the bottom surface, the balls being received in the accommodating space. When the anti dumping switch is flat the balls connecting the first switch end and when the anti dumping switch is dumped the balls disengage with the first switch end or the second switch end, wherein the first switch end is disposed at substantially a center of the bottom surface, the second switch end being disposed adjacent to the housing, the bush being received in the accommodating space and cycling the housing from inside and connecting the second switch end, the bush including a slope surface disposed adjacent to the bottom surface that make the balls contact the first switch end or the second switch end.

摘要: A system and method for corrosion problems in magnetic media resulting from moisture penetrating through the carbon layer into the magnetic layer by diffusion or other methods are overcome by processing the carbon overcoat to stop and/or inhibit the moisture penetration. The process involves removing moisture channels from protective overcoats of thin film magnetic media by irradiating the protective overcoat with ultraviolet (UV) radiation in an inert hydrophobic chemical environment. Afterwards, the thin film magnetic media can be removed into ambient atmosphere where it is coated with a lubricant.

摘要: A lubricant for improving the durability and reliability of recording media used in hard drives is disclosed. The lubricant comprises a perfluoropolyether main chain with a first end attached to a hexa(trifluoromethylphenoxy) cyclotriphosphazene, a second end attached to a bonding enhancer for enhancing bonding between the lubricant and a carbon-containing layer. The bonding enhancer of the lubricant can contain multiple hydroxyl, amide groups, 2,3-dihydroxy-1-propoxyl, acetamide, methacrylate, methyl methacrylate and glycidyl ether. Some bonding enhancers such as methacrylate, methyl methacrylate or glycidyl ether, can be further activated with ultraviolet light.
