Abstract:
An end cap assembly for a reciprocating air motor comprises a pilot valve and an end cap body. The pilot has a valve stem. The end cap body comprises a central bore for receiving an air motor rod, a valve bore in which the pilot valve is disposed such that the valve stem extends through the end cap body, and an air port extending through the end cap body. The air port has a contour to direct air toward the valve stem.
Abstract:
Disclosed are pharmaceutical compositions containing Vitamin D receptor activators or Vitamin D analogs to treat, prevent or inhibit vascular disease. The pharmaceutical compositions may also include ACE inhibitors or other agents. Also disclosed are methods of reducing PAI-1 expression by administering effective amounts of Vitamin D receptor activators or Vitamin D analogs to a mammal in need thereof. Additionally disclosed are methods of preventing, inhibiting or treating thrombosis in a mammal in need of such prevention, inhibition or treatment comprising administering effective amounts of Vitamin D receptor activators or Vitamin D analogs to the mammal.

Abstract:
Disclosed are compositions containing a VDRA/Vitamin D analog to treat or prevent kidney disease, including chronic kidney disease. The present invention also relates to methods of treating kidney disease by administering to a patient a pharmaceutical composition containing a therapeutically effective amount of a VDRA/Vitamin D analog. Compositions according to the invention include a VDRA/Vitamin D analog and at least one of the following agents: an ACE inhibitor, an angiotensin (II) receptor blocker (ARB) and aldosterone blocker in therapeutically effective amounts to inhibit renin production or inhibit activation of the renin-angiotensin-aldosterone system. Preferred compositions contain paricalcitol with at least one of these other agents. Such combinations can avoid ACE inhibition escape and aldosterone escape with subsequent increase in angiotensin (II) and aldosterone generation.

Abstract:
A hose reel 10 is supported by a mounting bracket 12 which can be attached on a vertical or horizontal surface and allow for 180 degrees of motion to allow the hose reel 10 to automatically swivel in the direction the hose 14 is being pulled. The bracket mechanism 16 consists of integral mounting bosses 18 on the hose reel enclosures 20, a mounting bracket 12, a tube 22 and a constraint device 24 on the tube 22. The mounting bosses 18 on the hose reel enclosures 20 are designed to orient and constrain the mounting tube 22 to allow for the tube to be installed from either end of the hose reel. The constraining device 24 on the tube 22 locks into an integral opening 26 in the mounting bosses 18 to prevent tube 22 displacement in either direction.
Abstract:
A remote-control movable bump for temporary traffic-control purpose includes a movable and combinable main body of trapezoid shape so as to define a slope on front and back side, a plurality of vertical slots formed spaced apart in one of the slopes, a shaft rotatably disposed in a center of the main body having a hexagon recess in one end and a protrudent rectangular recess on the other end engageable with a rectangular axis of an alternately rotated motor, a plurality of tipped blades integrated with the shaft and engaged within the vertical slots respectively and a remote sensor to actuate the motor which operates the shaft to rotate for lifting the tipped blade up for about 45°.

Abstract:
A low-energy and high pressure, hydraulic, pneumatic engine contains: a casing device, two main-cylinder devices, a holder device, two main-crankshaft devices, two recycle-valve devices, two swing-arm devices, two movable-valve devices, two recycle-cylinder devices, two recycle-crankshaft devices, and two umbrella-shaped gear devices. The engine operates without using gasoline or diesel, thus avoiding discharge of harmful substance or gas and pollution. The high pressure gas forces the hydraulic oil without using gasoline or diesel so as to start the engine, and the hydraulic oil recycles and reuses repeatedly, thus obtaining environmental protection. And the high pressure gas forces the hydraulic oil so as to circulate the hydraulic oil, and the communication of the low-energy and high pressure and the low pressure matches with the circulation space of the fluid operation to produce the torque, hence four strokes cycle of intake, compression, combustion and exhaust are not required.

A hose reel (10) is supported by a mounting bracket (12) which can be attached on a vertical or horizontal surface and allow for 180 degrees of motion to allow the hose reel (10) to automatically swivel in the direction the hose (14) is being pulled. The bracket mechanism (16) consists of integral mounting bosses (18) on the hose reel enclosures (20), a mounting bracket (12), a tube (22) and a constraint device (24) on the tube (22). The mounting bosses (18) on the hose reel enclosures (20) are designed to orient and constrain the mounting tube (22) to allow for the tube to be installed from either end of the hose reel. The constraining device (24) on the tube (22) locks into an integral opening (26) in the mounting bosses (18) to prevent tube (22) displacement in either direction.
