摘要: The invention relates to a method for determining a characteristic pattern for a speech message that is supplied in the form of a numerically encoded audio signal generated by means of a sampling process. Said method comprises at least the following steps for determining the characteristic pattern on the basis of the numerically encoded audio signal: in a first step, non-speech portions of the audio signal are suppressed in that irrelevant frequency ranges are filtered out by applying a suitable signal filter, particularly a bandpass filter, to the audio signal; in a second step, a copy command (SQR) is used in order to copy all elements of the numerically encoded audio signal into the positive number range; in a third step, an audio signal sampling rate characterizing the sampling process is adjusted; in a fourth step, the new value range of all elements of the numerically encoded audio signal is scaled with regard to a maximum value and a mean value, said new value range being the result of the adjustment of the sampling rate. The invention further relates to a system for carrying out the disclosed method as well as devices and a corresponding communication network.

摘要: A method for tracking network parameters in a communication network formed by nodes and links between them, particularly in a packet-based IP network, with access controls for the purpose of limiting the traffic load, where the network parameters include a link/cost metric with link weights for the links, a) a traffic matrix for the network is regularly ascertained, b) a blocking probability for traffic which is subject to an access control is determined from a current traffic matrix, c) a check is performed to determine whether the ascertained blocking probability satisfies a criterion for scheduled network operation, d) if the blocking probability does not satisfy the criterion and/or redetermination for limits used as part of the access controls using the current traffic matrix does not result in a blocking probability which satisfies the criterion then the current traffic matrix is used to determine a new link/cost metric for optimizing the transport of traffic through the network, e) new values for limits used as part of the access controls are determined on the basis of the new link/cost metric and, following determination of the new values for the limits, a check is performed to determine whether the criterion is satisfied when the limits are fixed at these values again, f) if the criterion is satisfied then the link weights are configured with the new link/cost metric in the network and the limits are stipulated at the new values, wherein in step d) the link/cost metric is first of all optimized for the transport of traffic through the network without taking account of error situations, and if it is established in the subsequent step e) that the criterion is not satisfied when the limits are fixed again on the basis of the new link/cost metric, optimized without taking account of error situations, then the process returns to step d) and the link/cost metric for transporting traffic through the network is optimized taking account of error situations.

摘要: According to the invention, in order to control the access of traffic streams (VS) to the communications network (KN), an available capacity (VK), placed at the disposal of an access node (ZK) for transferring traffic streams (VS) to said communications network (KN), is determined from an access node (ZK) of the communications network (KN), taking into account the total transfer capacity (G) of the communications network (KN). The available capacity (VS) is notably redetermined whenever the routing information (RI) of the access node (ZK) is modified. An access control of this type guarantees the quality of service required in a connectionless communications network.

摘要: The invention relates to the routing of data packets comprising a target address in a packet switching data network. According to the invention, a first and second transmission path are assigned respective traffic distribution weightings in a routing table for individual target addresses that is assigned to a network node, said weightings indicating the respective allocated traffic load per transmission path. The maximum traffic distribution weighting is assigned to the respective first transmission path and the minimum traffic distribution weighting is assigned to the second transmission path. During undisturbed operation, data packets are routed via the first transmission path and if said path is interrupted, the packets are routed via the second transmission path.

摘要: There is a method and a device allowing the distributed calculation of routing tables for routing in a communication network containing nodes and links. The calculation of routes to be used is carried out in centrally. Data relating to the routes to be used are transmitted to a node which, based on said information, generates a routing table by assigning packet addresses to the routes. The central calculation of the routes results in an increased efficiency of resources while requiring less calculation effort which is particularly advantageous in the context of networks comprising multipath routing where the calculation of routing tables is very complex. A further reduction in effort can be achieved by means of the central calculation of the distribution weightings.

摘要: There is described a method and a configuration system for the automatic readjustment of limits for access controls used to restrict the traffic in a communication network formed by links, said communication network comprising control bodies for performing the access controls. The readjustment of limits for access controls is triggered by an event. A traffic matrix of the network is recorded in the configuration system of the communication network, and a recalculation of link weights is carried out by the configuration system by means of a traffic matrix. New limits are determined limits are respectively transmitted to associated control bodies for performing the access restriction and are activated for access controls. The method enables the limits for the access controls to be automatically monitored.

摘要: According to said method, routing information or a list of routing information is inserted or modified in the packet header of data packets, in response to a malfunction of the packet network, in order to avoid defective nodes or links. The data packets with modified headers are routed using the inserted routing information to avoid the network node that is not available. The routing information inserted in the packet header can be determined via the packet network with the aid of topological information. The invention allows a rapid response to malfunctions. Packet losses and delays in data transmission can thus be avoided immediately after the determination of the malfunction by routers adjoining the malfunction area, whereas in conventional packet networks, a problem-free data transmission can only be restored after the convergence of the modified topological information in the packet network.
