摘要： Vehicle security protection system provides anti-theft security system for the voluntary vehicle vacate situation, regardless of whether the engine is running. When a thief trips the armed system, the engine ignition circuit is instantaneously and continuously broken at the vehicle's engine ignition module. The system is difficult to hot-wire or to reset. An anti-hijack security protection system is also provided which can interface with the anti-theft system. Either system can be "armed" regardless of engine status. However, the user must be in the vehicle before arming the anti-hijack system because the door/courtesy light circuit is used as the trigger circuit for engine kill. A time delay is provided in the anti-hijack mode to cause the thief to commit to public actions and to give the owner time to escape from the hijack scene. In either mode, when the system is tripped, the fuel gauge indicates an empty tank condition.

摘要： The present invention is a security shield for vehicles such as police vehicles or taxis. The security shield includes a shield body constructed to extend for substantially the entire width of the vehicle from the roof to a position below the backrest of the front seat a pair of legs mounted on either side of the shield body disposed over a corresponding lateral frame member of the vehicle and an adjustment screw disposed in each leg for raising the shield body from the lateral frame member toward the roof of the vehicle. In the preferred embodiment each leg includes a tapped hole for accommodation of the corresponding adjustment screw and each adjustment screw includes a substantially conical end adapted for high friction contact with the floor of the vehicle. In a further feature of the preferred embodiment, each leg is mounted on the shield body in an overlapping fashion having an overlap extent selectable during installation to control the lateral dimension of the security shield.

摘要： The present invention is a ceiling console mounting system for equipment in police vehicles. The ceiling console is secured at the front by a forwardly extending tongue wedged between the ceiling and the upholstery molding and at the rear by attachment to the light mount for the ceiling dome light. A plurality of units of police equipment are mounted in the ceiling console. The radio or radio control unit is disposed in the forward portion of the ceiling console with the front panel disposed vertically so as to be readily visible at just above the normal eye level. Other units of electronic equipment are disposed rearward of the radio or radio control unit with front panels disposed to be substantially parallel to the upraised hand. The ceiling console is preferably constructed of an upper spine and a plurality of lower shells whose attachment to the upper spine allows adjustment to the contour of the ceiling of the particular vehicle. This invention is advantageous because the ceiling console can be easily installed and deinstalled in a variety of vehicles, it secures the police equipment in a safe manner and it causes no damage to the vehicle, thereby improving the resale value of the vehicle upon retirement from police service.

摘要： A gas appliance stove safety valve system that incorporates a safety valve assembly between the gas line manifold of the stove and the wall shut-off valve from the main gas line. The safety valve assembly is mounted adjacent the rear of the gas appliance stove beneath an aperture in its top wall. Special structure is utilized to fasten the ball valve assembly to the top wall of the stove. A special key is utilized that can be inserted through the aperture in the top wall of the stove to rotate the valve stem of the ball valve assembly between a closed position and an open position. There is also structure for preventing removal of the key unless the safety valve assembly is actuated to its shut-off position.
