摘要: A vehicle ignition interlock device comprises a vehicle ignition locking circuit which relies upon Bluetooth® pairing with a matching cellular phone to enable the ignition. The device is housed in a plastic enclosure having inside a Bluetooth® connection module and a relay that are interconnected to wiring. External wiring then connects the device to vehicle power, ignition interlock, and a valet switch. A valet switch allows the device to be overridden. During initial installation or setup, the device is paired with authorized cellular phones. During use, the owner approaches the vehicle whereupon the device automatically pairs with the phone and enables the ignition. Should the phone not be present, the vehicle will not start.

摘要: The present disclosure provides a method for controlling an electric scooter and electric scooter, wherein the method comprises: a first target operation performed on the electric scooter is detected in a case that the electric scooter is unlocked by using a target account; the electric scooter is set to be in a temporarily locked state in response to the first target operation, wherein the electric scooter in the temporarily locked state is set to allow to be unlocked only by the target account within a target duration after detecting the first target operation the electric scooter in the temporarily locked state is unlocked in a case that a second target operation performed on the electric scooter is detected within the target duration. The present disclosure solves the problem existed in the method for controlling an electric scooter in the related art that the electric scooter is easily used by others when the electric scooter is temporarily stopped using.

摘要: The invention relates to a method for regulating the current flow of a coil that controls the viscosity of a magnetorheological fluid of a controllable energy absorber in a steering system for a motor vehicle, wherein during an accident the energy absorber acts as a hydraulic damper between two parts movable with respect to one another, whose damping force is determined by the current flow through the magnetic coil, wherein the following steps are provided: the relative velocity between a first part of the steering column movable with the steering wheel and a second part of the steering column fixed to the vehicle body is determined continuously or at intervals, the acceleration required for the braking from the measured relative velocity at standstill up to the end of the travel path is calculated, the current flow is calculated from the calculated acceleration in such a way that the value of the acceleration is approximately reached during the further travel of the parts movable with respect to one another.

摘要: Vehicle security protection system provides anti-theft security system for the voluntary vehicle vacate situation, regardless of whether the engine is running. When a thief trips the armed system, the engine ignition circuit is instantaneously and continuously broken at the vehicle's engine ignition module. The system is difficult to hot-wire or to reset. An anti-hijack security protection system is also provided which can interface with the anti-theft system. Either system can be "armed" regardless of engine status. However, the user must be in the vehicle before arming the anti-hijack system because the door/courtesy light circuit is used as the trigger circuit for engine kill. A time delay is provided in the anti-hijack mode to cause the thief to commit to public actions and to give the owner time to escape from the hijack scene. In either mode, when the system is tripped, the fuel gauge indicates an empty tank condition.

摘要: An unattended-vehicle engine-idling system controls a vehicle powertrain in a non-motive mode with the engine running. An ignition switch operables with a removable ignition key. A control circuit has multiple states including a PREARMED state which is entered when the powertrain is in the motive mode and the user generates a manual activation signal. An ARMED state is entered when the transmission is in Park and holds an ignition switch status signal at RUN. An ACTIVE state is entered when the ignition switch is moved to the Accessory or Off positions or the key is removed. The powertrain is switched to non-motive mode and the switch status signal stays at RUN. A DISARMED state is entered in response to a manual deactivation signal generated independently of the ignition switch. In the DISARMED state, the ignition switch status signal corresponds with the ignition switch position, thereby turning off the engine.

摘要: A motor vehicle having an engine and drive train is protected by a security system including a sensor, a sequencer and an interrupter. The sensor can detect motion of the motor vehicle to provide a motion signal. The sequencer is coupled to the sensor and responds to the motion signal for providing a disable signal after production of the motion signal. The interrupter is coupled to the engine for disabling it in response to the disable signal. Thus the motor vehicle is disabled only after its motion is detected.

The controller is configured to manage an operating mode of the vehicle center console transmission gear shift knob and thereby prohibit power from reaching the automatic transmission shift interlock solenoid switch so that the vehicle center console transmission gear shift knob is prohibited from being displaced out of a park position.
