    摘要: A method for multiplexing uplink control information (UCI) on a physical uplink shared channel (PUSCH) is described. Control data is coded with user data repetition. The coded control data is mapped to a PUSCH resource. A data block base for the coded control data is also mapped in the PUSCH resource. The UCI may include channel quality indicators (CQI)/precoding matrix indicators (PMI), acknowledgement/negative-acknowledgement (ACK/NACK) and rank indicators (RI).

    摘要: Methods, systems, and devices provide improved proximity services. In one aspect, a base station includes an information generating module and an information transmission module. The information generating module generates control information for causing a mobile device to initiate a discovery signal transmission procedure. The discovery signal transmission procedure allows the mobile device to be discovered. The information transmission module transmits the control information to the mobile device. In another aspect, a mobile device includes an information receiving module, a control module, and a signal transmission module. The information receiving module receives control information. The control module initiates a discovery signal transmission procedure for proximity services responsive to the information receiving module receiving the control information. The discovery signal transmission procedure includes generating a discovery signal allowing the mobile device to be discovered. The signal transmission module broadcasts the discovery signal.

In one aspect, a user equipment (“UE”) terminal controls the transmission power of signals used for device-to-device (“D2D”) services based on power control parameters provided by a base station. The UE terminal includes a first power control module for controlling a first transmission power to be applied to signals used for communication with a base station. The UE terminal also includes a second power control module for controlling a second transmission power to be applied to signals used for D2D services. The first and second transmission powers can be determined based on at least one power control parameter received from the base station. The UE terminal also includes a signal transceiver module for transmitting signals used for uplink/downlink communications using the first transmission power and transmitting signals used for D2D services using the second transmission power.

    摘要: A coding scheme for use with a CSMA protocol to enable transmission of high data rate information signals thereover, wherein the protocol includes an OFDM physical layer, a MAC layer and a CSMA protocol inner code, includes providing an outer coding generator; generating outer code words containing coded and uncoded data therein in the outer code generator; wherein, the generated outer code words fit with a small multiple of data bits with an OFDM symbol having a fixed number of data bits, thereby providing for transmission of high data rate information using the outer code and the CSMA protocol inner code at a data rate of at least 24 Mbps and at a packet error rate of less than 1.5·10−9.

    摘要: A method of synchronizing clocks in the stations of ad hoc and infrastructure networks includes providing a time stamp field in a header; reading the header by all stations in a network; extracting the time stamp information from the header by each station in the network as time information; sending extracted time information to a station clock; and adjusting the station clock as a function of the extracted time information. A system for synchronizing clocks in the stations of ad hoc and infrastructure networks includes a DLL having a comparator for receiving the time stamp information and a low-pass filter having a long time-constant for adjusting the station clock in a gradual manner; a time stamp field in a header; and time information extracted from the time stamp information of the header by each station in the network.
