    摘要： A method is disclosed to monitor the status of devices disposed in a computing system. The method provides a computing device comprising a plurality of devices, and a system monitoring algorithm comprising a monitoring interval and a device status for each of (N) devices disposed in the computing device, where those (N) devices comprise a portion or all of the plurality of devices. The method sets for each value of (i), the (i)th monitoring interval and the (i)th device status, where the (i)th device status is selected from the group comprising active and inactive; where (i) is greater than or equal to 1 and less than or equal to (N). As long as the (i)th device status is set to active, the method monitors the status of the (i)th device at the expiration of each (i)th monitoring interval. On the other hand, as long as the (i)th device status is set to inactive, the method does not monitoring the status of the (i)th device at the expiration of each (i)th monitoring interval.

    摘要： The present invention relates to the use of extra particulate additives in selected chemically processed toner compositions for use in an image forming apparatus. The extra particulate additive may have a controlled aspect ratio and be combined with the chemically processed toner. The chemically processed toner may provide toner particles having controlled diameters and rheological properties that may be combined with a release agent. The release agent may also be selected with respect to, e.g., concentration and/or mean domain size within the toner particles including considerations of coating chemistry and/or DSC melting behavior.

    摘要： Toner is rounded by vigorously mixing less than about 5 percent by weight of particulate silica to the total weight of a starting toner in a closed, recirculating air system. The starting toner contains at least about 4.5 percent by weight of the starting toner of a wax and additionally contains at least 5 percent by weight of the starting toner of a softening agent. The temperature during the mixing is no more than 13 degrees C. above the onset of the glass transition temperature of the starting toner. The final toner comprises rounded starting toner having particulate silica embedded during the mixing process.

    摘要： A radar system embeds information into the radar picture data for display on any display device. The radar receiver communicates weather data to a signal processor which generates a weather array. An I/O processor transmits data in the weather array to a display device via a picture bus. Alphanumeric data which is to be embedded into or combined with the weather array is stored in a message array. Font information for each alphanumeric character is stored in a font array. The message array and the font array are combined and translated into a text array which corresponds to the weather array. Prior to transmitting each radial of data to the display device, the I/O processor copies the appropriate radial data from the text array to the weather array thereby causing the desired alphanumeric characters to be displayed on the display device.
