A visualization system can receive information from a radar system, such as radar commands and radar parameters. After extracting data from the commands and/or parameters, the visualization system generates a three-dimensional (3D), realtime display showing a field of view (FOV) of radar operations including representations of beams generated by the radar system and targets tracked by the radar system.

Abstract: A field of awareness (FOA) system provides an operator of a vessel with intuitive object detection and positioning information. The system may comprise an FOA cloud server and an FOA unit. The FOA cloud server may be configured to perform a machine learning training operation to modify an FOA model based on a location-based relationship between training radar data and truth data. The FOA unit may be disposed on the vessel and may comprise processing circuitry configured to apply radar data to the FOA model to perform a comparison to determine a matched model signature, an associated matched object type, and an icon representation for the object of interest. The processing circuitry also be configured to control the display device to render the icon representation of the object at a position relative to a representation of the vessel based on the relative object position.

Abstract: An apparatus for nautical tracking, where the apparatus detects at least one object. The apparatus further determines radar information associated with the at least one object, and calculates a first velocity vector associated with the at least one object. The apparatus further determines information associated with a tidal current of the water body, and calculates a second velocity vector based on the information associated with the tidal current. The apparatus further compares the first velocity vector and the second velocity vector in order to classify an object of the at least one object as a target, and further notifies a user of the target.

The system can include a display for showing the weather condition and its location.

Abstract: An echo image generating device may be provided, which includes a signal acquiring module, a sensitivity setting module, and a screen generating module. The signal acquiring module may acquire an echo signal from a target object around a ship. The sensitivity setting module may perform a first sensitivity setting for the echo signal in a first range, and a second sensitivity setting for the echo signal in a second range without including the first range, the second sensitivity setting being different from the first sensitivity setting. The screen generating module may generate an echo image of the first range based on the first sensitivity setting, and generate an echo image of the second range based on the second sensitivity setting.

Abstract: A collision avoidance apparatus includes a control unit that is configured to perform a collision avoidance process. The control unit determines whether or not an object is present ahead of the own vehicle. When the control unit determines that an object ahead is present, the control unit determines whether or not there is a likelihood of a collision between the object ahead and the own vehicle and whether or not a corner is present ahead of the own vehicle. When the control unit determines that a corner is not present and when a predetermined collision avoidance condition is established, the control unit is capable of changing a travelling direction of the own vehicle to avoid collision between the object ahead and the own vehicle. When the control unit determines that a corner is present, the control unit does not perform a travelling direction change of the own vehicle.

Abstract: A real-time radar surveillance system comprises at least one land-based non-coherent radar sensor apparatus adapted for detecting maneuvering targets and targets of small or low radar cross-section. The radar sensor apparatus includes a marine radar device, a digitizer connected to the marine radar device for receiving therefrom samples of radar video echo signals, and computer programmed to implement a software-configurable radar processor generating target data including detection data and track data, the computer being connectable to a computer network including a database. The processor is figured to transmit at least a portion of the target data over the network to the database, the database being accessible via the network by at least one user application that receives target data from the database, the user application providing a user interface for at least one user of the system.
