摘要: Sprayable, pre-mixed, mine sealant compositions having enhanced strength properties and capable of retarding flame propagation and suppressing combustibility of substrate materials are disclosed in three general forms. In the first form, an alkaline silicate material such as sodium silicate is employed with perlite and a mineral acid in order to provide the above properties. In a second formulation, the first form is augmented by white pigments. In a third formulation, additional bulking materials e.g., cellulose are added to provide enhanced structural integrity and mine sealant qualities.

摘要: The invention concerns a system for distributing fluid pressure to several fluidic motors from a common location. At the common location, a source pipe, which acts as the source of fluid pressure, travels past, and couples with, each pipe in a group of receiver pipes in sequence. Pressure in the source pipe is controlled so that the pressure is proper for each receiver pipe with which the source pipe couples. The receiver pipes connect with fluidic motors. Accordingly, a single control apparatus, located near the source pipe, is used and the pressure and flow from the source pipe is time-multiplexed and transmitted to the fluidic motors.

摘要: An electronic circuit for use on a contactor is disclosed. The electronic circuit may be encased in a housing and mounted to a coil cover on the front of a contactor for applying control power to the coil for a selected time period to enable the contactor to change its state and be held in the changed state. Thereafter, the electronic circuit disconnects the supply to the coil thereby preventing coil burn out. The control power is only applied after initiation of an input signal from a switch and after a controller in the electronic circuit has slept for a first predetermined period of time so as not to register any bounce from the input signal. The electronic circuit may include an auxiliary contact status check for providing error free activation of the mechanically held contactor when changing state of the contactor. A contactor employing the electronic circuit of the present invention and a method of using the electronic circuit on a contactor are further disclosed.

摘要: A field configurable contactor is disclosed. The contactor preferably includes a plurality of spaces adapted to receive any number, up to its limit, of contact modules. Each contact module preferably includes a pair of contacts and a spring biased cam follower which opens and closes the contact pair when a cam profile of the contactor moves according to energization or de-energization of the contactor. The contact module can be either “normally open” or “normally closed” depending on its initial placement onto the contactor relative to the cam profile. A latch assembly in the contactor may hold the contactor mechanically during de-energization.

摘要: A timing valve is responsive to certain hydraulic rotor speed input signals so as to schedule increased temperatures of air to a turbine shroud support in accordance with the thermal time constants of the rotor. Clearance between the rotor and the shroud is thereby minimized during both transient and steady-state operating conditions. Temperatures are incrementally increased by selectively combining air from the compressor fifth and ninth stage bleed manifolds. Under certain operating conditions, the timing valve is pre-empted and air is provided at a predetermined temperature level as a function of rotor speed only.
