    摘要: A dry low NOx (DLN) fuel nozzle of a fuel system is provided and includes one or more downstream orifices formed to define a first fluid path along which fluid is directed to flow, an upstream orifice, located upstream from the one or more downstream orifices, formed to define a second fluid path along which the fluid is directed to flow and connecting passages disposed to fluidly couple the first and second fluid paths of the downstream and upstream orifices, respectively, to one another. At least one of a radial size and an axial location of the upstream orifice is set to cooperatively detune an acoustic impedance of the fuel system.

The combustor includes at least one fuel nozzle. The at least one fuel nozzle includes a flow passage including a body having first end that extends to a second end through at least one flow channel having a flow area. A fuel inlet is provided at the first end of the body. The fuel inlet is configured to receive at least one fuel. A fuel outlet is provided at the second end of the body. A control flow passage is fluidly connected to the body between the first and second ends. The control flow passage is configured and disposed to deliver a control flow into the fuel nozzle. The control flow establishes a selectively variable effective flow area of the flow passage.

    摘要: A tunable fluid flow control system for controlling combustion dynamics in a combustor is disclosed. The control system includes a fuel supply path having an inlet portion, a first diverted portion, a second diverted portion, and an exit portion. A first diverted portion has a first length and a first diameter. A second diverted portion has a second length and a second diameter and spaced apart from the first diverted portion. The first and second diverted portions converge at a merging location. The exit portion is coupled to the merging location of the first and second diverted portions. At least one flow regulation device is coupled to the inlet portion and configured to divert fuel flow to the first and second diverted portions alternately to generate fuel flow perturbations at the merging location.

    摘要: Methods and systems for combustion dynamics reduction are provided. A combustion chamber may include a first premixer and a second premixer. Each premixer may include at least one fuel injector, at least one air inlet duct, and at least one vane pack for at least partially mixing the air from the air inlet duct or ducts and fuel from the fuel injector or injectors. Each vane pack may include a plurality of fuel orifices through which at least a portion of the fuel and at least a portion of the air may pass. The vane pack or packs of the first premixer may be positioned at a first axial position and the vane pack or packs of the second premixer may be positioned at a second axial position axially staggered with respect to the first axial position.

    摘要: Differences between data objects stored on a mass storage device can be identified quickly and efficiently by comparing block numbers stored in data structures that describe the data objects. Bit-by-bit or byte-by-byte comparisons of the objects' actual data need only be performed if the block numbers are different. Objects that share many data blocks can be compared much faster than by a direct comparison of all the objects' data. The fast comparison techniques can be used to improve storage server mirrors and database storage operations, among other applications.
