    摘要: Provided is a secondary battery pack that determines, as for protection and controlling, the state of connection based on information input from external interfaces and switches a protection and control mode from one setting to another according to connection targets and situations. Accordingly, the secondary battery pack of the present invention includes a secondary battery block 12 having secondary batteries 11 connected; a current detection section 13 that monitors a charge and discharge current of the secondary battery block 12; an output voltage detection section 15 that monitors the output voltage; a communication terminal 17; an ID terminal 18 that detects a connection to a device; and a control section 19. The control section 19 controls the charging and discharging of the battery pack, calculates capacitance and performs other processes to control the operation of the battery pack as a whole on the basis of electric potential/communication information from the communication terminal 17 and device connection information from the ID terminal 18.

    摘要: A battery pack containing a CPU and allowing correction of measured data is provided. The CPU has, at least, a main program for obtaining data concerning the voltage of each cell, charge/discharge current and temperature by measurement to control charging and discharging and to perform cumulative calculation of the remaining battery capacity, a communication program for communicating with an external device, and a correction program for acquiring measured data to obtain a correction factor for calculating a predetermined value from each item of the measured data and for storing the correction factor in a memory. After the state of each cell has been set to a predetermined value, the correction program is started to obtain a correction factor and to store it in the memory. The main program corrects each item of measured data concerning the cell voltage, charge/discharge current and temperature by the correction factor to control charging and discharging and to perform cumulative calculation of the remaining battery capacity. Thus, it is possible to increase the measurement accuracy even if low-cost members are used, and hence possible to reduce the costs.

    摘要: Provided is a multiple series/multiple parallel battery pack which is capable of operating at a proper timing, and which, even if lead wires for voltage measurement extending from secondary batteries are short-circuited, gives no damage to the secondary batteries or lead wires. Thus, the multiple series/multiple parallel battery pack according to the present invention comprises a plurality of units which are connected in series and a control circuit for performing control by means of a charge stop signal and a discharge stop signal output from each of the units. Each of the units is provided with a plurality of secondary batteries 10-1 to 10-8 which are connected in series, a voltage detection circuit 15 having a function of detecting the voltages of the individual secondary batteries and a function of outputting a charge stop signal 13 and a discharge stop signal 14 according to the result of the detection of the voltage, and lead wires 11 for transmitting the voltages of the secondary batteries to the control circuit or an external circuit. A resistor is inserted in series into a mid portion 12 of each of the lead wires, or a differential amplifier is connected to the mid portion 12 so as to transmit the output thereof to the outside.

    摘要: The invention provides a battery pack 2 operatively associated with a main system 1 for charge-level data sharing between them for recording and management. The battery pack 2 includes recorder means 22 that is connected to the main system 1 for writing to and reading out of the main system 1. Charge-level data measured (12, 14) and calculated (13) at at least the main system 1 are written to and read out of the recorder means 22 by way of signal lines. The battery pack 2 is not provided with any means for management of the charge-level data, making cost and size reductions possible.
