摘要: A level detecting circuit includes an operational amplifier, a first resistor, a first series circuit of second and third resistors, a fourth resistor, and a second series circuit of fifth and sixth resistors. The operational amplifier receives differential outputs from an AGC detecting circuit as inverting and non-inverting inputs. The first resistor is connected between one differential output of the AGC detecting circuit and the inverting input of the operational amplifier. The first series circuit is inserted in a negative feedback loop between an output of the operational amplifier and the inverting input of the operational amplifier. The fourth resistor is connected between the other differential output of the AGC detecting circuit and the non-inverting input of the operational amplifier. The second series circuit is connected between a bias voltage and the non-inverting input of the operational amplifier. The resistances of the first and fourth resistors and resistances of the second, third, fifth, and sixth are respectively set to be the same, and a temperature coefficient of each of the first, second, fourth, and fifth resistors and a temperature coefficient of each of the third and sixth resistors are set to have the same absolute value and opposite polarities.

摘要: An oscillation circuit has a differential amplifier including a constant current source formed by a resistor and a transistor whose emitter is grounded through the resistor, and a feedback circuit through which an output of the differential amplifier is positively fed back to an input of the same differential amplifier. The oscillation circuit further includes a band-gap regulator for producing a band-gap voltage proportional to a thermal voltage of transistors forming the band-gap regulator whose emitter areas are different with each other, and an operational amplifier for DC-amplifying the band-gap voltage and applying the amplified band-gap voltage to the base of the transistor forming the constant current source. The oscillation circuit is capable of performing a stable oscillation against a wide range of temperature changes.

摘要: A pulse sensor for sensing keyed pulses for a keyed AFC which is used in a hi-vision satellite broadcast receiver, has a differentiating circuit that differentiates pulse signals supplied thereto so as to be amplified by a dc amplifier. The amplified signal is transformed by a window comparator such that a resultant signal having a fixed voltage level is output as a pulse sense signal. The sensor circuit is simplified and can be easily manufactured in an integrated circuit configuration.

摘要: A detector for use in an automatic gain control amplifier and operated to generate a gain control voltage in response to an amplitude of the output signal of an amplifier circuit includes five transistors connected in a detector circuit. The first transistor receives a bias voltage at its base and the second transistor receives a true signal of an input signal along with the bias voltage at its base. The third transistor receives a complementary signal of the input signal along with the bias voltage at its base. A first current source is connected in common to the emitters of the first to third transistors. A control voltage is supplied between the bases of the fourth and fifth transistors. A second current source supplies an operating current to the fourth and fifth transistors. A first load is connected in common to the collectors of the first and the fourth transistors. A second load is connected in common to the collectors of the second, third and fifth transistors. A first output terminal of the detector is connected to the collectors of the first and fourth transistors, and a second output terminal of the detector is connected to the collectors of the second, third and fifth transistors. The detector reduces or eliminates temperature dependence of the amplitude of the output of the amplifier circuit.

摘要: There is provided a composite differential amplifier with a lower voltage and a lower power consumption of the circuit thereof. An output of a differential amplifier is inputted into an emitter-follower and is delivered as a DC voltage from an emitter of each of transistors of the emitter-follower to a non-inverting input terminal or an operational amplifier. Then, an output of the operational amplifier is supplied to a variable current source. The variable current source at its current drain side is connected to a resistance side of the differential amplifier so that an external control voltage inputted to the non-inverting input side of the operational amplifier is equal to the DC output voltage of the differential amplifier.

摘要: A transistor circuit for a signal multiplier used in, for example, a demodulator by means of the Costas loop method is disclosed. The transistor circuit comprises first to third circuit stages each including first and second transistors coupled in a differential form. The first to third circuit stages are connected in tandem with one another such that the output signal current of each circuit stage is supplied to the succeeding circuit stage without a substantial change. Further, each of the first to third circuit stages is supplied with one of or both of two input signals P and Q. As a result, the transistor circuit produces an output signal representing a signal multiplication: P.times.Q.times.(P+Q).times.(P-Q).
