Abstract:
The embodiments described herein relate generally to medical devices that measure vital signs, and more particularly to wearable wireless devices that collect multiple simultaneous vital signs, and systems and methods for compressing the sensor data into a matrix representation to facilitate collecting, transmitting, processing, and displaying vital sign data.
Abstract:
A magnetic memory device includes word lines, bit lines intersecting the word lines, magnetic memory elements disposed at intersections between the word lines and the bit lines, and selection transistors connected to the word lines. The magnetic memory elements share a word line among the plurality of word lines and also share a selection transistor connected to the word line that is shared among the selection transistors. Related systems and operating methods are also described.
Abstract:
An image sensor includes a pixel array including at least one active pixel and at least one line-optical black (L-OB) pixel arranged in a matrix including first to nth rows and first to mth columns, the pixel array configured to output a pixel signal and a dark-level offset signal in units of columns during a read-out operation in one of the first to nth rows; a row driver configured to output a selection control signal to the first to nth rows; and an analog-to-digital converter (ADC) block configured to digitize the pixel signal and the dark-level offset signal. In the pixel array, a dark-level offset signal is simultaneously output from an L-OB pixel in another row during the read-out operation in one of the first to nth rows. Here, ‘n’ and ‘m’ each denote an integer that is equal to or greater than ‘2’.
Abstract:
An image sensor includes an array of image sensor cells, on a substrate, and a peripheral circuit region extending adjacent the array of image sensor cells. The array of image sensor cells includes a plurality of lens elements and a plurality of color filters extending adjacent the plurality of lens elements. A plurality of photodiodes is provided in the substrate. The plurality of photodiodes are aligned to corresponding ones of the plurality of lens elements. An interconnection structure is also provided, which extends between the plurality of photodiodes and the plurality of color filters. The interconnection structure has an array of cavities therein that are aligned to corresponding ones of the plurality of photodiodes and are filled with a light guide material. The peripheral circuit region includes a metal interconnect pattern and an electrically conductive pad on the metal interconnect pattern. An electrically insulating layer extends on the electrically conductive pad. The electrically insulating layer is formed of the light guide material.
Abstract:
A mobile terminal having a supporting member is provided. The mobile terminal includes a main body having a first hinge portion, a first part mounted in the main body, and the supporting member having a second hinge portion connected to the first hinge portion. The supporting member is inserted into the main body and coupled to the main body by rotating about the first hinge portion. By integrally forming the main body of the mobile terminal and the supporting member, a manufacturing cost of the mobile terminal can be reduced and inadvertent loss of the supporting member by a user can be prevented. Further, when the supporting member is stored in a folded position in the main body of the mobile terminal, the supporting member can be used for aesthetic purposes and can provide an enhanced external appearance.
