    Abstract: Disclosed are a high-voltage direct current (HVDC) cable partial discharge diagnosis system and method. The HVDC cable partial discharge diagnosis system according to one aspect of the present invention comprises: a sensor provided on an HVDC cable; a plurality of HVDC cable partial discharge measurement devices for acquiring measurement result information from the sensor and detecting a partial discharge signal from the measurement result information; and an HVDC cable partial discharge diagnosis device which receives the partial discharge signal from the HVDC cable partial discharge measurement devices and diagnoses whether partial discharge has occurred in the HVDC cable, through pattern analysis of the partial discharge signal.

    Abstract: An apparatus and a method for detecting a fault location of an underground cable are proposed. The apparatus includes: an optimal reference signal design unit configured to design a reference signal for detecting the fault location of the underground cable considering propagation characteristics of the underground cable according to a time-frequency domain reflectometry method; a signal application and acquisition unit configured, as the designed reference signal is generated and applied to the underground cable, to acquire the reference signal applied to the underground cable and a reflected signal of the applied reference signal; and a data analysis unit configured to analyze whether a fault location of the underground cable exists according to a decision on similarity between the reference signal and the reflected signal after obtaining a time-frequency domain energy distribution for the acquired reference signal and reflected signal.

    Abstract: A protective relay test equipment operation device according to an embodiment of the present invention may comprise: a switch unit for, upon reception of a trip signal or a close signal from a protective relay, changing an electrical connection state between a first port configured to be electrically connected to test equipment that generates a test signal and a second port configured to be electrically connected to the protective relay; a measurement unit for measuring a voltage and a current between the first port and the second port during a test period in which an operation time point of the switch unit is a start time point or an end time point; and a calculation unit for calculating a plurality of time point-specific impedance values within the test period according to a measurement result of the measurement unit.
