Abstract: In some examples, a system maintains, for a base storage structure and a collection of snapshots associated with the base storage structure, statistics relating to usage of storage space based on data of the base storage structure and the collection of snapshots. The system checks metadata of a first snapshot to determine validity of references in the metadata and a presence of any child of the first snapshot or a grandparent of the first snapshot. The system associates, based on the validity of the references in the metadata and the presence of any child or grandparent of the first snapshot, a hint with a metadata entry of a parent of the first snapshot to indicate that a metadata entry of the child or the grandparent is to be checked. The system updates, using the hint, the statistics relating to usage of storage space.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and apparatuses for providing access to records of a database stored on a database server in a cloud database platform are described herein. A data sharing platform may determine a shared view definition for access to the database. The data sharing platform may determine rules that specify criteria that limit access to the records stored by the database. The one or more first rules may be received via a user interface. The data sharing platform may perform, based on the rules, a data access certification process on the records stored by the database to generate a table of certification results. The data sharing platform may generate, based on the table of certification results, and without modifying the records stored by the database, a limited consumer view definition. Based on updates to the records, a new limited consumer view definition may be generated.

Abstract: The disclosure herein describes causing a database operation to be performed via a microservice. A translation layer exposes a translation API that is configured to receive commands in an API command format. A command in the API command format is received from a command sender that includes a database type. A microservice configured to perform the received command based on the included database type is identified. The command is transferred to the identified microservice, which is configured to translate the transferred command to a database command format associated with the database type and perform the translated command in association with a database. A response is received from the microservice based on performance of the command by the microservice, wherein the received response is in a response format that is compatible with the exposed translation API, and the received response is provided, via the exposed translation API, to the command sender.

Abstract: A computer system for performing cloud-based enhanced rules conflict checking is provided. The computer system is programmed to store a plurality of rules for transmitting to a plurality of destination systems and receive a data message for transmission to the plurality of destination systems from a first requesting system. The computer system is programmed to compare the data message to a first set of rules to validate the data message and if the data message is validated for the first set of rules, instruct the first requesting system to transmit the data message to the plurality of destination systems. The computer system is further programmed to receive the data message for transmission to one or more remaining destination systems from a second requesting system and compare the data message to a second set of rules for validating the data message.

Transaction storage data can be generated for the new block. The transaction storage data can indicate the plurality of transactions and specify, for each of the plurality of transactions, which of a plurality of computing nodes are to keep the transaction in the new block. The generated transaction storage data can be added to the new block. The new block can be communicated to the plurality of computing nodes.

Abstract: A computing system includes a processor and memory storing instructions that, when executed by the processor, cause the processor to perform acts. The acts include receiving a query provided by a user. The acts additionally include determining that the query is related to a comparison between entities. Based upon the determining that the query is related to the comparison between entities, the computing system generates a prompt that is to be input to a generative language model, where the prompt includes: 1) an instruction for the generative language model to generate a table based upon the query; and 2) attribute values for entities identified by a search system based upon the query. The acts also include providing the prompt as input to the generative language model, where the generative language model generates a table based upon the prompt, and further where the table includes the attribute values for the entities.

Abstract: Systems and methods are disclosed for implementing a vehicle shadow service that includes a vehicle and/or vehicle shadow update mechanism. A vehicle shadow management sub-system of the vehicle shadow service includes or interfaces with an interface configured to receive vehicle state change requests. Received requests are stored in an update queue for a vehicle shadow and a validation processor determines whether the received state change requests are valid before sending a given state change request to a vehicle corresponding to the vehicle shadow. In some embodiments, state change requests may be invalidated due to being rendered moot by subsequently received requests, changes in state of the vehicle, expiration, etc. The corresponding vehicle shadow is then updated when a data stream from the vehicle indicates that the requested state change has in fact been implemented at the vehicle.

Abstract: Trustless deterministic state machines can be implemented using a blockchain infrastructure and state machines can run concurrently over more than one blockchain transaction. Disclosed herein are processes, apparatuses, and articles of manufacture to create, at a node, a first transaction that includes 1) a first output having a first spendable value and a first locking script and 2) a second output having a second spendable value and a second locking script. Included, in the first locking script, is a first set of constraints on a first selected transaction output. Included, in the second locking script, a second set of constraints on a second selected transaction output. Furthermore, either the first set of constraints or the second set of constraints is configured to impose a constraint on a locking script of a spending transaction having as a spending transaction output the first selected transaction output or the second selected transaction output.

Abstract: A payload store within a database management system includes a first set of nodes that include a first node that includes memory, a network interface, a storage device, and at least one processing unit. The at least one processing unit is operable to receive, via the network interface, a first set of data rows that includes a plurality of subsets of data rows and a last subset of data rows. The processing module is further operable to randomly assign the plurality of subsets of data rows and the last subset of data rows between the first set of nodes, where a first number of data rows of the plurality of subsets of data rows is assigned to the first node and a second number of data rows is assigned to another node. The processing module is further operable to store the first number of data rows in the storage device.

The computing platform may receive, from a workload processing system, a data feed indicating current workload information. The computing platform may validate, using the one or more rules for automated validation, the first container configuration output. The computing platform may send, to the workload processing system, the first container configuration output and one or more commands directing the workload processing system to process the data feed using the batch configuration defined by the first container configuration output, which may cause the workload processing system to process the data feed using the batch configuration.
