摘要: A method for producing a magnetic head having a head core which includes a first head core half body (22) having a winding groove (22b) at one side surface thereof, a second head core half body (23) having one side surface joined with the side surface of the first body, both half bodies being fixed by mold glass (25) about a joined plane thereof via a gap spacer (24) of material having a melting point higher than the mold glass, and one end surface (20a) normal to the joined plane and shaped into an arc to become a tape sliding surface having a magnetic gap at the joined plane. The first and second head core half bodies are formed from pole shaped bodies (26, 27) having long grooves (26a, 26b, 26c, 27a) and notches (26d, 27b) cut therein after which the pole shaped bodies are joined together by abutting the notched faces (24, 26B, 27B) together and joining them by molding melted glass in the notches (26d, 27b) and groove (26c). After solidifying the glass, the magnetic heads are cut off on planes through the notches and grooves. The first body has a back groove (22c) formed by cutting out a part near the other end surface opposite to that on which the sliding surface (20a) is formed, and a pair of first track width regulation grooves (22d) cut out of both corners of the joined plane and having a slant at a predetermined angle (DEG.sub.1) extending from a portion near the opposite end toward the sliding surface (20a) and transverse to the winding groove (22b). The second body (23) has a pair of second track width regulation grooves (23b) cut out of both corners between the joined plane and the sliding surface (20a) on a slant at a predetermined angle from the middle of the winding groove (22b) to the sliding surface. The mold glass (25) is filled into the back groove (22c) and the first and second regulation grooves for fixing the first and second bodies by solidification after cooling.

摘要: Cavities capable of housing terminal fittings connected with the ends of electric wires W are provided inside of a housing. A rear assembly is assembled at the rear of the housing. The rear assembly includes a cover formed of a quality of material having no elasticity and a waterproof member formed of a quality of material having elasticity. The waterproof member further includes a wire seal part that surrounds and waterproofs electric wires, and a housing seal part that seals between the two housings. A clearance is provided about a periphery between the outer peripheral face of the wire seal part and the housing seal part. Even if the material of the wire seal part is deformed during the insertion operation of the electric wires, the insertion operation of the electric wires can be smoothly carried out to the last wire because the clearance absorbs the deformation of the entire wire seal part.

摘要: A steel material having a columnar configuration is subjected to forming by applying finishing processing performed after buster processing and coarse (preliminary) processing to obtain a configuration in which additive metal lump portions are combined with upper and lower portions of a shaft section having a circular cross section. In the following trimming processing, a shaft section is formed to have a configuration in which eliminative metal lump portions are cut and eliminated from right and left sides of the shaft section. In the following sizing processing, plastic flow is allowed to occur from the additive metal lump portions to the eliminative metal lump portions to obtain a shaft section having a circular cross section. When the shaft section is formed by effecting the processing steps as described above, a method for forming crank shafts and a method for producing crank shafts can be obtained, which make it possible to decrease the number of processing steps so that the processing cost is reduced and the processing time is shortened.

摘要: A connector is provided to prevent gelatinous seal members from being adhered to terminal fittings and improve the insertion operability of the terminal fittings. The connector includes a housing 11 with a rear surface that is held watertight since clearances between a cover 23 and the housing 11 and between the cover 23 and wires 15 are sealed by gelatinous seal members 40. Thus, female terminal fittings 14 are not brought into contact with the gelatinous seal members 40 while being inserted. Therefore, there is no likelihood that the gelatinous seal members 40 are adhered to the female terminal fittings 40 and that the viscosity resistance thereof acts on the female terminal fittings 14.

摘要: To effect water-proofing using a non-water-proof type of female connector, a non-water-proof female connector (20) is fitted with a concave fitting member (12) of a male connector (10), a cover assembly (30) fitting with both the female connector (20) and the concave fitting member (12). The cover assembly (30) is provided with a ring-shaped seal (40) which fits tightly with the rim of the circumference of the fitting member (12), thereby sealing the portions of the two connectors (10) and (20) that fit together. A gel seal (45) is compressed between the cover assembly (30) and the rear face of the female connector (20), this preventing water from entering via terminal attachment holes (21) on the rear face of the female connector (20).

摘要: An anti-skid device for use on pneumatic tires of an automotive vehicle includes a supporting ring rotatably provided on the outer circumferential periphery of a mounting plate that is detachably mounted on the wheel portion of the automotive vehicle, a plurality of ribs formed from a material having elasticity and toughness that are provided on the supporting ring in a radial fashion and are bent so as to extend from the outer side of a pneumatic tire to a tread thereof, first and second endless bands provided on the leading-end portion of each of the ribs in such a manner as to be located within the width of the tread of said pneumatic tire, rivets secured at portions where the first and second bands intersect the ribs, and a counter-measure provided on either of the first and second bands for preventing an imbalance in the degree of stretch between the first and second bands. Insertion and fixation holes each including a large diameter portion and a small diameter portion are formed in the mounting plate with the large diameter portions being designed to be opened and/or closed by stoppers after the leading-end portions of wheel nuts of the automotive vehicle have been put through the large diameter portions so as to be then moved to the small diameter portions to be secured in place therein.
