摘要:
Disclosed herein are a sweetpotato expansin cDNA (IbExpansin), a plant transformation vector carrying the same, and a transgenic plant comprising the vector. The transgenic Arabidopsis, prepared using the IbExpansin cDNA, outgrows the wild-type, thereby increasing in size and seed production up to three times. Thus, the gene is useful in the generation of highly productive transgenic plants for improvement in biomass and/or seed production.
摘要:
Disclosed herein are antisense DNA of a sweetpotato expansin (IbExpansin) cDNA, a plant transformation vector carrying the same, and a method for increasing storage root production using the same. The transgenic sweetpotatoes prepared using the antisense DNA of IbExpansin cDNA have storage root production increased by up to one and half times. Thus, the gene is useful in the generation of highly productive transgenic storage roots for the increase of bioethanol production.

The present invention relates to a promoter of hot pepper related to TMV-resistance, more precisely a promoter of the gene related to TMV-resistance and a method for regulating the expression of a target protein by using a transcription factor binding to the same. The method of the present invention can be effectively used for the regulation of the expression of a target protein in disease-resistant plants.
摘要:
Disclosed herein are a sweetpotato SRD1 cDNA, a plant transformation vector carrying the same, and a transgenic plant comprising the vector. The thickening growth of storage roots of the transgenic sweetpotato prepared using the SRD1 cDNA is stimulated, increasing the number of storage roots by up to two times. Therefore, SRD1 according to the present subject matter is useful in the generation of transgenic root crops with high-numbered storage roots or early-maturing storage root plants.

Disclosed herein is the novel plant-specific transcription factor gene CaWRKYd that can be induced by interaction with TMV-P0 and that plays an important role in regulating plant defense responses through a CaMK1 cascade induced and acts as a positive regulator imparting disease resistance to plants. Also, a transgenic plant anchoring the gene therein is provided. Therefore, the gene allows the production of plants resistant to diseases and can be very effectively used in studying defense response mechanisms of plants.
