    摘要: In a first aspect, the invention concerns a method for detecting or quantifying DNA methylation at a locus. In one embodiment, a methylation-sensitive endonuclease is formulated together with a polymerase enzyme in an appropriate reaction mixture such that amplification of DNA occurs in a methylation specific manor. Quantitative DNA amplification at selected loci can be used to determine the level of methylation. Kits and reagents for performing such methods are also provided.

Load transfer spokes of the spoke casing extend between the outer case and an inner case of the spoke casing. A bearing housing supported by the engine casing may include a fuse arrangement for isolating bearing seizure loads from the engine casing. A seal arrangement may be provided to centralize the rotors after the fuse fails. The mid turbine frame may be provided to have a desired flexibility through the configuration of the casing and bearings in design.

    摘要: A drawing take off system itemizes components shown on a paper drawing. The take off system includes a sleeve for holding a standard pen, a computer having a software module, and an interface connection between the sleeve and the computer. The software module maintains a list of each component model shown on the drawing. The sleeve includes a pen stroke switch for counting pen strokes and a component selection switch for selecting a component model from the component model list compiled in the software module. As an estimator marks components on the paper drawing, the take off system counts pen strokes for each individual component of each model of component marked on the paper project drawing by the estimator and calculates the cost for all of the components taken off of the paper drawing.

A device for a vascular anastomosis includes tissue engaging portions that can move between at least two configurations. The tissue engaging portions may be separated by a first distance when in a pre-deployment configuration and by a second distance when in a deployed configuration. A method includes engaging a plurality of tissue engaging members of a coupling device against first end tissue. After selectively engaging the tissue engaging members and first end tissue, the first end tissue is stretched by at least moving the tissue engaging members. The stretched first end tissue is coupled to the second end tissue by mating the coupling device to a mating anastomosis device.
