摘要: A system and method for receiving streamed, real time quotes with respect to financial instruments. The system applies a spreadsheet based investment strategy to the real time quotes, generating electronic orders based on the results of the investment strategy analysis and transmitting the orders for real time execution. The system generates a unique order identifier that allows users to actively track the status of orders in real time. This unique order identifiers can be shared with other users so that other trading strategies can be developed to execute upon the successful execution of the order (e.g., hedging).

摘要: In a client-server architecture, a semi-persistent connection between the client and the server allows delayed or asynchronous transmission of a cookie or token. Delayed or asynchronous transmission of the cookie allows initial web page generation and display while awaiting a slow cookie, such as a cryptographically generated cookie that might be used for single-session sign-on. A technique for determining whether the client has received the cookie is also provided.

摘要: Improved processing of spent catalyst from an oxygenate-containing feedstock to olefins conversion process is realized through the employment of a barrier filter to treat a catalyst particle-containing flue gas resulting from a catalyst regenerator. The barrier filter serves to separate the catalyst particles from the flue gas. Catalyst material so recovered can, with or without classifying, subsequently be appropriately recycled and further used.

摘要: A sensor and method that detects a mis-calibration and automatically recalibrates itself without operator intervention. If the sensor determines that it was calibrated over an object such as a stud, the sensor may automatically update the calibration value with a new lower value without operator intervention. This process may repeat until the calibration value is set to a value that represents the wall covering alone without hidden objects behind it.

摘要: The present invention provides a process and apparatus for removing catalyst fines from a reactor effluent stream withdrawn from an oxygenate conversion reactor. This process comprises exposing a hydrocarbon stream to a catalyst within an oxygenate conversion reactor to produce a reactor effluent stream, wherein said reactor effluent stream contains catalyst fines, passing the reactor effluent stream to a filtration means, wherein said filtration means removes said catalyst fines from said reactor effluent stream, then sending said catalyst fines to a collector and then sending said catalyst fines from said collector to said oxygenate conversion reactor or discarding said catalyst fines.

摘要: A stud or joist sensor device and associated sensing method using a ratio of capacitance measurements from a plurality of capacitive sensing elements. The device locates a feature of an object or discontinuity behind a surface or wall, such as an edge and/or a center of a stud behind the surface, a joist under a floorboard, a gap behind sheetrock, a metal conductor behind a surface or the like. The device may be moved over a surface, thereby detecting changes in capacitance. The change in capacitance is due to the effective dielectric constant caused by the passage over an object such as a stud. When two capacitive sensing elements provide equivalent capacitance measures, the device is over a centerline of the stud. When a ratio of the capacitance measurements equals a transition ratio, the device is over an edge of the stud.
