    摘要: A power sourcing unit for a power over ethernet system. The unit includes a chassis with a power supply guide and a CPU guide, and a power supply including a power supply connector. The unit also includes a printed circuit board including first and second connectors and being coupled to a plurality of RJ-45 jacks, and a CPU line card including a CPU connector. The power supply guide engages the power supply to allow the power supply to be slid into and out of the unit to couple the power supply connector to the first connector of the printed circuit board. The CPU guide engages the CPU line card to allow the CPU line card to be slid into and out of the unit to couple the CPU connector to the second connector of the printed circuit board. The CPU line card allows the unit to be coupled to a network. Multiple power sourcing units can be daisy-chained together.

The jack module is configured to receive a plug connector having a first set of contacts spaced from a second set of contacts. The jack module includes a first contact arrangement configured to engage the first set of contacts of the plug and a second contact arrangement configured to engage the second set of contacts of the plug. The second contact arrangement is provided on a media reading interface, which may provide presence sensing. The first and second contact arrangements engage landings on the circuit board. One example jack module defines a right-angle jack.

    摘要: A wall mount chassis includes circuitry for telecommunications signals. The chassis includes a rear wall mountable to a vertical wall, and first and second sides. Each side includes a hinged cover. Each cover includes an access window for viewing an opposite side of the cover. On one side of the chassis is positioned signal converter cards for converting between optical and electrical signals. On an opposite side of the chassis are positioned one or more electrical power cards providing an access location for power to the circuitry. A CPU card can also be provided on the same side as the power card. An interior of the chassis includes a back plane positioned between the converter cards and the power and CPU cards wherein the back plane is perpendicular to the converter cards and power and CPU cards. A cable spool is positioned adjacent one of the sides for cable management. Cable clips are provided for securably retaining one or more cables adjacent each of the first and second sides.

    摘要: A telecommunications patch panel includes a frame defining at least one opening configured to receive a connector module; and at least one connector module rotatably mounted in the at least one opening of the frame. Each connector module defines an axis of rotation generally parallel to the front face. Each connector module includes at least a first and second linear array of openings configured to receive jacks modules. Each of the openings in the first linear array is configured to receive a jack module having a first orientation, and each of the openings in the second linear array is configured to receive a jack module having a second orientation. The second orientation is rotated about 180° from the first orientation along an axis of insertion of the jack module.
