Abstract:
A wire terminating tool has a handle and a positioning member coupled to the handle. The positioning member has a plurality of notches. A wire retention member is retractably slidingly coupled to the handle. The wire retention member has a plurality of wire engagement slots, wherein in a load position, the wire retention member selectively secures each of the wires in a respective one of wire engagement slots. When in an unload position, the wire retention member is retracted, therein transferring the wires from the wire retention member to a plurality of terminals of a termination block via the notches in the positioning member. A seating apparatus seats the wires in the terminals, therein providing a metal-to-metal contact between the wires and terminals. A cutting apparatus cuts the wires by a roller cutter, diagonal cutter, blade, and shear operably coupled to the handle.
Abstract:
A method for installing an elastomeric cover sleeve on an electrical connection including a connector and a cable having a cable axis includes: providing an installation tool including a slide portion; premounting the installation tool on the cable such that the slide portion extends along the cable axis and covers a portion of the cable; thereafter, sliding the cover sleeve onto the cable and onto the slide portion of the premounted installation tool to a parked position wherein the slide portion is interposed between the cover sleeve and the cable; installing the connector onto the cable; and thereafter, sliding the cover sleeve along the cable axis and the slide portion onto the connector.
Abstract:
A tool for changing first and second parts of a connector from a pre-assembly relationship into an assembled relationship. The tool is portable and has a frame with an operating mechanism thereon. The operating mechanism has a plunger that is movable to thereby change the relationship of the connector parts. The operating mechanism is operable by a pressurized fluid within a container that is connected to the frame.
Abstract:
The various embodiments relate to a lamp having a tubular lamp body, wherein at least one first line harness and one second line harness, or at least one first line and one second line, are arranged in the tubular lamp body, wherein the lamp furthermore has at least one spacing apparatus, which is arranged in the lamp and is designed to fix at least the first line harness and the second line harness or the first line and the second line at a predeterminable distance (D) from one another, at least in places. The various embodiments further relate to a method for production of a lamp such as this, and to a spacing element.
Abstract:
A manufacturing method for an electronic component forms with a high degree of accuracy a portion of an outer electrode on a main surface of a dielectric block. Light irradiated from a second main surface side is detected by a detector disposed on a first main surface side, thereby detecting the positions of first and second inner electrodes, and a conductive layer is formed in a portion on a first main surface, determined based on the detection result by the detector, thereby forming first portions of individual first and second outer electrodes.
Abstract:
A device for use as an adjunct in assuring that a manufactured wire is substantially free of internal flaws. A plurality of successively adjacent wire bending stations are provided, where each station includes means for bending the wire into bending planes which are different for each of the stations. The wire is passed through the successive stations, whereby the different bending planes at each station subject the wire at each station to tensile bending strain at portions of the wire cross-section which are different for each station. As a result the probability is increased that a given internal flaw in the wire will be exposed to the tensile bending strain condition as the wire passes through the successive stations, increasing likelihood of breakage of the wire at the flaw or of flaw magnification to improve detection of the flaw during subsequent wire inspections.
Abstract:
According to the present invention, an apparatus for manufacturing a multichannel electrode array for cranial nerve stimulation comprises: an electrode support supporting a plurality of electric wires, and having a plurality of platinum rings inserted therein; a frame member including a base, a pair of vertical frames, and a horizontal frame to fix the electrode support; a rotating member into the center of which the electrode support is inserted, and which rotates such that electric wires are twisted, pair by pair, at the electrode support so as to form a grid, when bobbins that are wound with the electric wires slide; an elevating plate rotatably and slidably supporting the rotating member; and a pair of left-side and right-side control units and which rotate the rotating member such that the rotating member slides along a length equal to that the grid.

Abstract:
A device for changing the electrode of an electrode-holder tool of a welding device, with a first part configured to house an electrode-holder tool and including means to prevent the electrode-holder tool from moving, and a second part installed around the first part and covering the part of the electrode protruding outside the first part, where the second part can be separated from the first part by sliding along the electrode, and is able to rotate relative to the fixed part when it surrounds it, and where the second part is configured to tighten or untighten the mandrel and to attach the electrode and the second part, enabling it to be removed from the mandrel when the first part and the second part are separated.
Abstract:
A jig for probe connector adapted for clutching a plurality of probe assemblies each of which has a connecting portion, a probing pin and a soldering portion disposed at two ends of the connecting portion respectively. The jig for probe connector has a base body. The base body has a plurality of passageways each penetrating a front end thereof. The passageway includes a first receiving recess and a second receiving recess disposed at a front of the first receiving recess. A cross section of the second receiving recess is larger than that of the first receiving recess, with a drop defined as a preventing portion formed therebetween. A side of the second receiving recess has a portion protruded inward to form a buckling lump, which is spaced from the preventing portion with a predetermined distance.
