    Abstract: A dimming method is to be implemented by a brightness divider, and includes steps of: (A) determining whether a brightness value is smaller than or equal to a predetermined reference value; (B) when it is determined in step (A) that the brightness value is smaller than or equal to the predetermined reference value, setting a magnitude value that is related to a current generator, and setting a pulse width value that is related to a switch based on the brightness value; and (C) when it is determined in step (A) that the brightness value is not smaller than or equal to the predetermined reference value, setting the magnitude value based on the brightness value, the predetermined reference value and a predetermined order setting, and setting the pulse width value based on the predetermined reference value.

    Abstract: A light emitting display device includes a substrate, a drive power circuit, a gate circuit unit, multiple LEDs and a power switch unit. The power switch unit includes multiple first transistor switches and at least one second transistor switch that cooperatively control current flows through the LEDs. The first transistor switches are respectively connected to first terminals of the LEDs. The at least one second transistor switch is connected to second terminals of the LEDs. The first transistor switches are further connected to the drive power circuit to receive multiple drive currents, and are further connected to the gate circuit unit to receive a timing input. The at least one second transistor switch is further connected to the gate circuit unit to receive a timing input. The light emitting display device can have reduced parasitic capacitance effect, and thus reduced power consumption and have improved display quality.

    Abstract: An LED display device includes a system board, and multiple daughterboards that are assembled on the system board. The system board includes a drive power circuit, a first gate circuit and a second gate circuit. Each daughterboard includes a substrate, multiple LEDs that are disposed on the substrate, multiple first transistor switches that are respectively connected to the LEDs, and at least one second transistor switch that is connected to the LEDs. With respect to each daughterboard, the first transistor switches and the at least one second transistor switch cooperatively control current flows through the LEDs; the first transistor switches are further connected to the drive power circuit to respectively receive multiple drive currents, and are further connected to the first gate circuit to receive a timing signal; and the at least one second transistor switch is further connected to the second gate circuit to receive a timing signal.

    Abstract: A driving system includes a scan driving device. The scan driving device includes a configuration register, a counter, multiple comparators and a driver. The configuration register generates a counting parameter and multiple scan order parameters based on a serial input signal and a clock signal. The counter generates a counting value based on the clock signal, an enable signal and the counting parameter. Each comparator compares the counting value with a respective one of the scan order parameters to generate a comparison result. The driver generates multiple scan driving signals for driving a scan-type display based on the clock signal, on the enable signal and on the comparison results respectively generated by the comparators.

    Abstract: A driving system includes a scan driving device. The scan driving device includes a configuration register, a counter, multiple comparators and a driver.     Abstract: A scan-type display apparatus includes an LED array, a display module, a control module and a driver module. The LED array has a common cathode configuration. The control module generates a synchronization control (SC) signal. Based on the SC signal, the driver module outputs an input voltage to scan lines of the LED array sequentially without overlapping in time so as to drive LEDs of the LED array to emit light in a line scan manner, and generates an image refresh signal that is related to the output of the input voltage to one of the scan lines which corresponds to a last line of the line scan in each line scan cycle and that is further related to refreshing of images on a display constituted by the LED array and the display module.

    Abstract: A method of building a model of defect inspection for a light-emitting diode (LED) display is adapted to be implemented by a model-building system. The model-building system stores captured images respectively of LED displays that were displaying images. Each of the captured images corresponds to a status tag that indicates a status of the image being displayed by the respective one of the LED displays. The method includes: performing data preprocessing on the captured images to result in pieces of pre-processed data that respectively correspond to the captured images; and building a model of defect inspection by using an algorithm of machine learning based on the pieces of pre-processed data and the status tags.

    Abstract: A chip on board (COB) display device includes a substrate, an array of spaced-apart micro light-emitting diode (LED) chips, a light-shielding layer, and an anti-glare layer. The micro LED chips are disposed on the substrate to define thereamong, a recessed portion recessed relative to the micro LED chips. The light-shielding layer is filled in the recessed portion. The anti-glare layer is disposed to cover the light-shielding layer and the micro LED chips, and has a surface which is opposite to the substrate and which is formed with a patterned microstructure. A method for making the COB display device is also disclosed herein.

    Abstract: A metal-oxide semiconductor module includes multiple metal-oxide semiconductor components separated from one another by at least one first trench. Each of the metal-oxide semiconductor components includes a heavily doped semiconductor layer which includes a drain region, an epitaxial layer which is formed with an indentation such that the drain region is partially exposed from the epitaxial layer, and a metallic patterned contact unit. The epitaxial layer also includes a source region and a gate region that are spaced-apart formed therein. The metallic patterned contact unit includes source, gate, and drain patterned contacts which are electrically connected to the source, gate, and drain regions, respectively. A light-emitting diode display device including the metal-oxide semiconductor module is also disclosed.
