    摘要: A profile control for a shear mechanism of a glass processing machine eliminates cams, gears, etc. otherwise required to oscillate the shear mechanism arms in unison in opposite directions between open and closed positions. The profile is the angular position time curve of the arms as they open and close over a predetermined angular displacement. The profile is controlled by adjustable oscillators and programmable memory (PROM) which determine the commands to a reversible dc motor drive. The control synchronizes the movement of the arms in proper phase relationship with respect to the feeder mechanism of the glass processing machine.

    摘要: A flexible connection extending between two objects which have relative motion is subject to deleterious electrical performance or damage due to fatigue or resonance. The connection is structurally augmented and therefore stiffened without affecting the range of motion by use of one of a pantograph or a bell-crank-and-carriage stiffener arrangement. The structural augmentation connects to the ends of the connection and also to locations along the length, to force portions of the connection to accept motion proportional to their distance between the moving ends.

At least one blade is connected to each arm. The blades are adapted to be in overlapping relationship in one position of the arms.     摘要: Plural article transfer mechanisms are operated in timed sequence by an electronic control synchronized to a main drive shaft. Each article transfer mechanism transfers articles from a dead plate to a moving conveyor. An extensible-retractable pusher arm engages, moves and releases the articles between 90.degree. positions under control of a fluid motor mounted on a turntable. Operation of the fluid motor is based on rotary alignment of a pair of turntable ports with a pair of fluid supply channels in a turntable drive body. The turntable is stepped in rotary increments between 90.degree. positions by an electric stepping motor. The angular speed profile of the pusher arm between the 90.degree. positions is governed by a programmed electronic control, including a PROM, which drives the stepping motor. An adjustable finger clip assembly is snap-fitted on the pusher arm and provided with a handle for ease of replacement.
