摘要: A transmission has an oil drain passage for connecting an oil reservoir with a mission case in a pump casing. The automatic transmission has also a retainer serving as a shielding member to shield between a discharge opening of the oil drain passage from at least part of a multistage transmission mechanism. This ensures that breather oil blow, which is caused by the spattering and stirring of operating oil by the high-speed drum member, is shielded from at least part of the transmission mechanism.

摘要: A vacuum pump has a housing accommodating a rotary shaft and a gas transferring assembly driven by the rotary shaft. The housing has an exhaust passage for exhausting gas outside the housing. The gas transferring assembly creates a vacuum. A lip seal for shaft seal is disposed between a pump chamber communicating with the exhaust passage and a region in which oil exists so as to slide relative to a circumferential surface of the rotary shaft. The lip seal has a back pressure surface in a back pressure region facing the pump chamber and a pressure surface facing the region in which the oil exists. A communicating passage in the housing intercommunicates the back pressure region and the exhaust passage for applying at least substantially the pressure in the exhaust passage to the back pressure surface.

摘要: A vane-type rotary refrigerant compressor adapted for use in an air conditioning system is disclosed which includes a rotor fixed on a drive shaft for rotation therewith and disposed in an elliptical chamber of a cylinder block which is enclosed by a housing and whose axial ends are closed by front and rear side plates. The rotor has a plurality of slots in which vanes are slidably received so that a plurality of compression chambers are formed during the operation of the compressor. An oil separator compartment is defined by the housing and the rear side plate, communicating with a discharge chamber into which compressed refrigerant is discharged. In the rear side plate is formed a discharge passage establishing communication between the discharge chamber and the oil separator compartment. The discharge passage has a restricted portion and a bend so as to provide resistance against the flow of the compressed refrigerant for damping its pulsating stream.

摘要: The present invention is a trap selector for selecting an optimum trap meeting various uses which is designed to sequentially input required data for selecting the trap and to execute previously memorized trap-selecting programs by a microcomputer characterized in that the geometrical conditions of various kinds of traps are previously memorized, the thermodynamical working conditions such as pressure thereof are inputted, when an optimum trap must be selected, so as to calculate the discharging flow rate (capacity), which is compared to the actually required discharging flow rate. In the conventional trap selector, all discharging characteristics for every pressure or temperature and the like of various kinds of traps must be memorized, but in the trap selector according to the present invention, the designated calculation is executed from the previously memorized geometrical conditions of various kinds of traps and the thermodynamical working conditions, which are inputted at the selection, such as pressure thereof and the obtained discharging flow rate is compared with actually required discharging flow rate and therefore the optimum trap can be decided.

摘要: The automatic transmission of the present invention prevents fluctuation of torque transmission through a band brake. In the hydraulic operator for the band brake, a resilient elastic cushion is provided between a rod abutting one end of the band of the band brake and a piston. Any slippage between the band and drum of the band brake will result in oscillation of the rod. However, the elastic cushion absorbs oscillation of the rod, thereby isolating the piston from that oscillation.

摘要: A vibrating cutting tool having an input shaft driven by a live spindle of a machine tool and an output shaft having a cutter mounting portion. The input shaft and the output shaft are coupled together through a coupling mechanism so as to be at least circumferentially movable relative to each other. Recesses are formed in one of the input shaft and the output shaft and holes are formed in the other at locations opposite to the recesses. Moving elements are mounted between the recesses and the holes with a predetermined gap defined between the moving elements and the recesses or the peripheral surfaces of the holes. The gaps serve to restrict a circumferential movement of the moving elements. Springs are provided to urge the moving elements against the recesses. The movement of the moving elements is restricted by stoppers. An adjusting ring may be provided to adjust the biasing force of the springs.
