摘要: A laser welding method for stacked workpieces. A laser irradiation diameter that is irradiated on a surface of one workpiece among two stacked workpieces is set such that a laser irradiation diameter at a weld ending-edge portion is equal to or greater than approximately 1.5 times a laser irradiation diameter at a weld starting-edge portion. Thus, at the weld ending-edge portion, the material is melted in a wider area compared to a conventional example, and therefore, the melted material is supplied to the center portion of the weld ending-edge portion while the weld ending-edge portion is solidifying. As a result, a depth of the recess at the weld ending-edge portion can be made shallow enough to guarantee the welding quality of each of the workpieces.

摘要: When a device searches a network, there is a case where the device is recognized as different devices as one searched by a protocol A and the other searched by a protocol B. In a proxy server 9300 for executing a protocol converting process in a network system, whether or not another protocol converting apparatus for executing a predetermined protocol converting process does not exist on the network is searched. When another protocol converting apparatus is searched on the network, whether or not the searched protocol converting apparatus has executed the protocol converting process is discriminated.

摘要: A butt welding system and a butt welding method of steel plate by which the quality of a product can be ensured. Butting portions of blank members (1,2) to be joined together are butted and a predetermined butting load is applied to the butting portion, wherein the blank members (1,2) are moved relatively in the direction of the welding line thus matching the butting portions. Protrusions and recesses formed on each butting portion of each blank member (1,2) are flattened, whereby linear precision at each butting portion of each blank member (1,2) is enhanced as compared with a case where the butting portions are not matched. Since the gap is reduced extremely at the butting portion, welding is facilitated at the butting portion. Good welding beads are thereby obtained at the butting portion and the quality of a product is ensured.

摘要: A network information management unit in which a memory resource that requires the storage of a network information management database is utilized in distributed fashion, as a result of which a single agent need not be equipped with a large-scale memory. The management unit, which is connected to a network and mounted on a network-capable image processing device capable of being shared by a plurality of clients, is constituted by a plurality of agents distributed on a plurality of logically independent controllers that construct the image processing device. Each of the plurality of agents communicates with one another, and generates a network management information response to a network management information request, which has been issued by a network information manager, after each agent has processed the network management information request in distributed fashion.

摘要: On the basis of control information of an image received from an external device via an external parallel interface, a frame memory control unit stores image data, which has been transferred from the external device, in a band memory B obtained by partitioning a frame memory into band memories A and B. The frame memory control unit subjects the image stored in the band memory B to image processing based upon the received control information, stores the processed results in the band memory A and then sends image data, which is obtained by image-processing the stored results, to a printer or to the external device. Accordingly, highly sophisticated image processing can be achieved with a minimal memory capacity.
